When I was learning the HH I used a Bazelgeuse build and used it solely to respond to low level SOS flares. I thought of myself as the anti-Bazelgeuse: showing up out of nowhere to save the day rather than fuck it up.

I love hunting horn players. Just as long as they aren't sitting in the corner and only buffing rather than attacking the monster. They can speed up a hunt so much.
It's on a list of weapon i plan to pick up.
Of course the Hunting Horn is a support weapon.
I support myself with buffs solo. Everyone in multiplayer just happens to share the buff that i bestow upon myself.
yeah thats basically how its played nowadays....
By the way, if four HHs with all different song lists happen to join the same squad, please understand that they are completely unstoppable and there will not be a single cart, since the sheer MMO-style overkill buffing will prevent death entirely.

I remember I was trying to learn the weapon and fainted to a great jagrass, haven't touched it since. It's really good in the right hands though

For Safi'jiiva HH the attack lvl4 upgrade is actually very good it has attack up L just for 3 notes and knockback negate which is btw the most useful melody when fighting coop since when the monster go down everyone can diss damage without getting interrupted by longsword, Dualblades, Insect glaive and etc

I know I'm late but I preffer HH to Hammer. I never used to play it but after trying it in Rise and watching actual videos and reading how to use it I get such regular KO rates with it and easy upkeep on my songs it's become the staple on a secondary on World.

Had my first "Monster is running into a wall" moment the other day with Zinogre. Except I wasn't disconnected and me and the person I was hunting with just stopped and looked at each other for a bit before getting free damage in
Hunting Horn is pretty rad in general, I never understood why it's the least used.
Two months ago I was using the Serigos HH in MH4U and the team loved me for that sweet sweet Negate Stamina Usage (L), especially the Dual Blades user who got pissed at me for leaving. :p

Hunting horn can deal so much damage, me and my friends made a meme set that I think is the highest damage you can get without using a safi horn(when it’s back we’re gonna put in probsbly the shatterhorn) but the encore three impact echo wave hit consistently for over 700 damage and the forte spinny move would hit for 150+ each tick

This is why I liked the appearance of Alchymy style in mhgu. It could act as a replacement of sorts for hh. It's what I use with my GS weapon.

I have a question: can playing a song with hh trigger diablos fissures
Technically a HH player is your BIGGEST asset to a hunt as they can heal you, raise your recovery,def, stamina etc.
As a charge blade main, I get super excited when I see a horn user. Those guys will knock a whole ass dragon on their asses before I can even fill my phials twice.
Ask for that damage buff when you're ready for the BIG discharge and the hunts over in minutes
Do the buffs from HH work in conjunction with things like eating buffs and demondrug?
Yes they do stack.
Only other HH Buffs don't stack

Hunting horn main here. Got a buddy that plays CB, SA, and dual blades.
He loves when I'm around because I fit the horn to his weapon (in other words if hes not on dual blades I'm running a normal t4 songset, if he is I'm running a stamina up song for him.) Most of what we say early on into a hunt is as follows.
Me: Can I get a mothafuckin uhhhhh
Him: Two rounds of attack up, defense up large, an earplugs with a side of encore
It sends me into hysterics
