I honestly don't mind inconsistent upload schedules, provided the quality of the videos is top notch like this one.
They usually put one out a month, seems pretty consistent to me. I agree about the quality content, love this channel.

Quality of these videos has always been top notch. The Art Work has only got better over the years. The amount of content they have put out has dropped somewhat over the last year. But they do have their day jobs and lives to live. The Why Files is brilliant to fill in between videos and War Time Stories is good too.
Bedtime stories doesn't owe any of us anything. We're lucky we have it, we're lucky to get his videos at all

I walked through the chase with my sister and her son and we all got an eerie vibe about the place. We even scared each other by joking of seeing a werewolf 😆

I've spent a lot of time up on the Chase and its a very different place come sundown. I've had some strange experiences myself up there. I don't doubt a lot of these stories.

@@countofdownable I saw a big cat near Castle ring about 5ft long. It jumped across the trail in one leap, looked like a puma/cougar. On a different occasion some animal followed me, I could only see its eye shine. I didn't dare get close enough for a proper look. I was walking down this trail next to tall grass, whatever it was followed me though the grass for about half a mile. I kept turing around just to see this eye shine in the grass. It looked much bigger than the puma I had seen before. I assumed it was a big cat but I was sacred and didn't want to get too close. Every time I turned round it seemed a little bit closer. In the end I started shouting at it and waving my arms. It just stood still in the grass at that point. I walked backwards until it was out of sight. Since then seeing animal's eye shine at night freaks me out just a little bit.
@@ryanfreebody6881 I've heard voices at night up there. It would've been around October so you really don't get many people there at night that time of the year, expect the odd mountain biker or maybe some poacher. Anyway I was walking down this trail in a wooded area of the chase and I notice that over the sound of my foot steps I can hear voices like chattering comming from deeper into the woods. I stopped to see if I could hear it better. Nothing, its just dead silence. So I start walking again and after a minute I notice that I can hear it again. It sounds like its coming from multiple directions as if there where loads of people in the woods. I stopped walking again and once again there is nothing to hear but my own breath. This time as soon as start walking the voices start all over again and didn't really stop until I got further down the trail. There definitely weren't any people out there, It was a cold night I couldn't see any lights at all and if there were people out there It would have had to have been a good dozen or so. The voices even had the local accent, which is a very distinct west Midlands accent. I couldn't really make any words out, it was just very odd.

Having been born on Halloween, I can tell you, the Dogman would not feel sick. He only showed them his trick, as no one gave him a treat! I love the endings to your videos, almost as much as the stories themselves.

I think the pig man is misunderstood due to the aggressive and terrifying tone of his dialect. Like at 6:30 I think he’s just waving the couple goodbye and wishing them a safe journey home
I'll sorta say the same with the last part's cavemen who fought what seemed to be a dragon. Apparently, they only scared off the unfortunate woman so to protect her away from the dragon's sight and smelling.
It looks exactly like the pig creatures from Doctor Who.
The one the couple encountered could have been some local crank who dressed up in a creepy costume to scare them

I can't believe how much activity Cannok Chase has!!! This is a very serious phenomenon that should be studied further and documented further this is a important bedtime story!
I remember YEARS ago after first finding your channel via the Skinwalker Ranch episodes I mentioned a Cannok Chase video and my lord I’m not disappointed.

You know, it's funny. I'd found the channel and watched most of the videos and thought "Hey, they should cover Skinwalker Ranch!" A week later they posted the first video

Beyond creepy is so good. He digs his stories up from small town America- local newspapers and just finds the most obscure stories. Unlike Mr Ballins and ppl like that going over the same old stories. Really good, obscure stuff

My sisters are walking through the chase as I watch this. The three of us usually go weekly to do the 10km trail. Its a beautiful place during the day, but as the night draws in, there's an eerie feel to it. Ive heard heavy footsteps running to the side of me once, but saw neither person nor creature. Also, the German cemetery is a cool place to visit, and there's an MoD base located on the edge of the Chase that you can walk past. Ive seen some oddly shaped footprints in that area🤷♀️ Great video!
I nearly lost it with the Pig Man reference. That was one of my favorite Seinfeld episodes. Kramer discovering and ultimately liberating the Pig Man from the hospital was and remains hilarious.

Im always so happy to see a bedtime story pop up. The quality and attention to detail really make the wait neither here nor there. This is one of my top channels and im so glad to see another episode.
Damn this was bloody scary and fascinating! The fact the police have two witnesses who saw that dog man gives the case real credibility. Cannock Chase has a lot of secrets. I know I wouldn’t go camping there!!
I was beginning to fear that the shouting Rich did at the end of the last episode might have gotten him in trouble with the police because of a noise complaint from his neighbors.
Also…Oh my god… you added original art for the outtake… and it’s hilarious.😂
Don't worry, the police in the UK only attend crimes if they involve somebody being misgendered or using a mean word.
The blue emergency lights illuminating the vaguest outline of the watching creature is pure Gold.

I was just wondering about you all last night and when I looked you up I discovered I missed the last video, which was part one. Great video too, creepy as it gets. Pleasantly surprised to see part two less than 24 hours later.
I would say the creepiest ones were the tall, well dressed, emaciated dude with super long arms and the pigman - 😱😱
Loved the singing at the end of the video, the end of it was funny. So was the ending of part one. I do believe you caught some subscribers off guard with that one! 😂🤣. Idk how anyone could fall asleep to them though.
The ghost child with black eyes is terrifying!! There is no way I will ever set foot on Cannock Chase. I go rambling in the countryside a lot but live in London, so it's not part of my local "patch".

I was actually reading about the chase Pig man yesterday, what amazing timing. Good show as always Bedtime stories team, you lot do a fantastic job every time you upload.
I have personally seen a creature like they've described here, with another witness present. Truly shocking.

It was way back in 91, inside a military base during an exercise, here in Brazil. We thought it was someone approaching but when it came close it was nothing I've ever seen before. It saw us and dropped to the floor and crawled like an alligator. @@horsymandias-ur

Loving all the attention Cannock Chase is getting- I'm seeing stories everywhere!! I've never been but I went to boarding school 10 miles away in Abbots Bromley which is also very soooky... would love to have an episode about that place!!

I love in Stafford, a few miles from the chase, I've spent many days and quite a few nights on there with the dogs, and even as a kid when I was in the cadets we used to regularly stay at the very creepy old Army camp close to the communication tower..the only weirdness I've ever seen was when I went into a very isolated area with a lot of pine trees close together. (For anyone that knows the area, if you walk down the main pathway where Brockten Coppice is on your right and the stepping stones come up on the left, I went off the main trail about a mile after the stepping stones and up a hill on the left ) It was pretty dense in undergrowth and trees and I glanced up and saw a deer carcass high up in a tree.
There is some big cat folklore associated with the chase, but I actually believe that there is or was a leopard in the area. (Described as a black panther but a panther is just another word for a leopard and leopards take kills into trees. I can't see it being a practical joker or poacher, it was about 20 ft up
these TRUE STORIES just keep getting better and better.

This has been a fantastic two part series. Living right near the Chase I'm familiar with most of the landmarks referenced, I had no idea about the creepy tales that are linked to them!

When I was a kid I lived just a few miles from the Chase, and went there walking, mountain biking (long before mountain biking was a thing), flying my gliders, tobogganing, skiing, and on wide-games and hikes with the scouts. Many good memories there. Never camped overnight though. My only regret is that I didn't explore it more than I did. It covers a big area, and I only saw a fraction of it.
I vaguely remember that communications tower. There were well-concealed WW2 gun emplacements, too.
It was just recently I learned what a spooky place it is, and that some of those creatures might be real.
Can always count on nightmares after a Bedtime story....😁🇬🇷

It's funny I can actually picture the dogman/werewolf chilling in the tree having a laugh at the things it causes. I like to think they retain as much of their human element as they do their canine. So there are these massive hairy werewolf running around trolling the British public, can picture one jumping out of the Bush to scare an old lady, but she has a heart attack and it's like, "ah come on love, it was just a joke. You're being a little dramatic about it now, you were supposed to run off in the other direction screaming. Now I've got to put on my posh voice and call for the paramedics."

There was a film called Prey(in the U.S., it was called Alien Prey). It was about an extraterrestrial being who assumed the identity of one of its victims to appear human, while hiding a cannibalistic for humans. Could these cryptid legends inspire that film since it was filmed in England and set in and around the Midlands?

Wow ! I must say that I have followed this channel since it first aired its videos and have always been impressed at the quality and contents of their productions, but these two videos pertaining to the supernatural goings on at Cannock Chase have really topped the score. I used to live not far from the area in the late 1960's and often heard of mysterious things that happened there, but these stories and incidents are way above anything I ever heard about. What can be the explanation for these weird occurences ? Is the boundary between worlds and dimensions gradually falling, allowing horrendous creatures to come into our world occasionally? Your guess is as good as mine but I for one would like to hear more of the subject from Bedtime Stories.
