I disagree on reaching out to a significant other if they are seeing someone else. Stay in no contact for as long as possible for your own sanity pls! If they should reach out to you (during NC) take it with a grain of salt bc it’s hard to identify what their motives are. They could just be seeing if you’re ok or seeing if you still have feelings for them, etc. You truly never know. I think it’s pivotal to let that situation that she/he is in play out. You shouldn’t disrupt or interfere with that relationship (especially if it’s serious). There’s hardly any beneficial gain from it and it still makes you look desperate and needy regardless of what your intent is. You’re just delaying the opportunity to heal and move forward by doing this. I would only say until that relationship fails then let that be opportunity to make amends or reconcile the relationship you had with your ex. But I would also strongly suggest letting them reach out first bc they’ll need sometime to reflect on the previous failed relationship.
I spoke to my older brother about this very situation. He said I should just tell her exactly how I feel. I told him she knows exactly how I feel. The fact that she still hasn't blocked me ANYWHERE makes me kinda hopeful that reconciliation is a possibility. I muted her statuses and stories on WA and Facebook, so I don't see what's going on in her life. I don't want to see any traces of her relationship at all. I chose to create a new WHATSAPP account with a new number that she don't have so I won't be tempted to contact her or see anything she posts. I'm taking a step back and let the relationship run its course. While at the same time I do some things that will help with my self confidence. I'm really confident that she's gonna come back, but to a new and improved me!! And by saying that, I won't jump into the relationship (if it comes back to that) immediately, I'm gonna give her time to get over the guy!!!
Our kids are acting out after they found out he cheated again. I just want to say no contact works , I say this from a point of view of that my ex broke up with me and 2 days later my best friend saw her profile on a dating site so clearly she's trying to hide feelings , we were together 2 years and planned to get a house 3 months before she ended it. I went into no contact after begging of course , and now 22 days later still no word but I worked on myself every day I said I need to drop from 24%body fat to 13% , I need to train for total warrior 12km assault course, I need to set up my art business along with my day job, I need to go and get hypnotherapy to sort my fussy eating out and today I'm 18% body fat and progressing , I'm ready for total warrior , I'm now eating all types of foods , my arts now on etsy and honestly I feel fantastic but I still have good and bad days of course and I still always wonder who she's dating so soon after me but the work on myself I would never have done it while still with her so life goes on and I know when she sees me next she will come crawling with a tail between her legs and I will have the power. It's ok to have moments where you cry and ponder over the good memories but you control your own future. So to echo what's being said In the video work on yourself and you are guaranteed to be the best option for your ex and when the time comes you will hold the power.
