Re:zero season 2 was scheduled to start at April 1st (Subaru's birthday) and end at Emilia's. Due to corona, they had to skip Emilia's birthday but it turned that it ended in March 24th which is Otto's Birthday, so Otto is the main heroine confirmed.

It points to that Echidna in the flashback and the Witch of Greed might not be the same person. That is why you cannot picture her in your imagination hearing the story from ryuzu.
There's quite a few theories on why Rem and Otto were left out of the tome of wisdom. One of them is that Pandora altered reality and made them come into the world when they weren't supposed to. For example there is a theory that she altered reality to have Ram's power lessened by having Rem be born as her twin to have Ram and Rem only born with one horn each. Who know tho. We'll have to see what Tappei has planned

Everytime I rewatch Rezero, there always something new I caught on. Does Emilia crying that froze the entire forest not just because of her power? Instead Pandora make her power to cause that so much froze, even cannot be thaw to the core of land. With that reason, Emilia have to become the ruler of Lugunica as Roswaal promised her to help thawing the land. I dont know, it just seems to me like Pandora plotting for Emilia to progress and eventually meet with her again. With all those hardship, Emilia might have to rely on the seal someday
I noticed some thing this episode. Roswaal from the present has a yellow and blue eye. FRom 400 years ago Roswaal has blue eyes and Hector has yellow eyes. Also Hector has the same verbal tick as Roswaal from the present when he has his clown makeup on. I wonder if Hector and Roswaal from 400 years ago merged or something.
They didn't even pay attention to conversation Beatrice and Ryuzu were having... Except for Sheera. That's sad!! That scene was one of the most beautiful scene in this anime.

Honestly the Rowaal voice actor is one of my favorites, you should listen to some of the interviews from Sugita about him as Dio. He is also fantastic as Ozymandias in FGO.
It's not mentioned in the anime (Not spoilers, Cut content), Pandora and Hector are witches. Vainglory and Melancholy are actual sins amongst the "7 deadly sins" back in the day it used to be "9 deadly sins" A pope, I don't remember his name, Just merged vainglory with pride and Melancholy to sloth. Pandora used her power to take her and Hectors name out of history in their world. So some mirroring is goin on. Also remember when Hector points out Echidana looked better years ago in his opinion.
Apparently Emilia declaring her name at the start of her trial and Subaru declaring his name to Roswaal happened at the exact same moment. Just to show that a lot of things are happening all at once, rather than how they appear
It's even better to me when I consider her pose at the end of episode 16 is one of the weird eccentric things Subaru does. She learned that from him, and Echidna has full knowledge of Subaru's memories so she'd recognize it immediately as Subaru rubbing off on Emilia. No wonder she has contempt for Emilia after saying Subaru's existence is a desirable thing
We were already told about the machine at the core of the Sanctuary. It produces clones for Echidna to put her soul in. It didn’t work, but it just keeps producing clones. This episode we got to see it’s rushed completion and the circumstances as to why.
Hector is the warlock (male form of witch) of melancholy. Melancholy was one of the original 9 deadly sins, but got rolled into sloth later. The other cut sin is vainglory, which got rolled into pride. In Re Zero, the main seven sins are the big focus but the 2 archaic sins also have corresponding witch’s (Pandora and Hector) and both are rather mysterious.
Man you can clearly see that lupasan does not enjoy this show. Looks like he was expecting some shounen action instead of dialogue and character development. I feel bad for him being forced to watch this show 😂

apparently there's something about Otto that we dont know about, like he's dangerous or something. 1st is this episode with him being the "unknown piece" leftout of the prophecy and 2nd is that in one of the "If" Stories (i think Gluttony) when Subaru becomes a bad guy, he asks everyone who would be the most dangerous to him and they all said Otto, not Reinhard, Garfiel or Roswaal.

I noticed some thing this episode. Roswaal from the present has a yellow and blue eye. FRom 400 years ago Roswaal has blue eyes and Hector has yellow eyes. Also Hector has the same verbal tick as Roswaal from the present when he has his clown makeup on. I wonder if Hector and Roswaal from 400 years ago merged or something.

Honestly the Rowaal voice actor is one of my favorites, you should listen to some of the interviews from Sugita about him as Dio. He is also fantastic as Ozymandias in FGO.

It's not mentioned in the anime (Not spoilers, Cut content), Pandora and Hector are witches. Vainglory and Melancholy are actual sins amongst the "7 deadly sins" back in the day it used to be "9 deadly sins" A pope, I don't remember his name, Just merged vainglory with pride and Melancholy to sloth. Pandora used her power to take her and Hectors name out of history in their world. So some mirroring is goin on.
Also remember when Hector points out Echidana looked better years ago in his opinion.

We were already told about the machine at the core of the Sanctuary. It produces clones for Echidna to put her soul in. It didn’t work, but it just keeps producing clones. This episode we got to see it’s rushed completion and the circumstances as to why.

Hector is the warlock (male form of witch) of melancholy. Melancholy was one of the original 9 deadly sins, but got rolled into sloth later. The other cut sin is vainglory, which got rolled into pride. In Re Zero, the main seven sins are the big focus but the 2 archaic sins also have corresponding witch’s (Pandora and Hector) and both are rather mysterious.
Man you can clearly see that lupasan does not enjoy this show. Looks like he was expecting some shounen action instead of dialogue and character development. I feel bad for him being forced to watch this show 😂
yeah lol, also based on his reaction to other shows, i think he is fragile to many gory scenes especially when the blood/deaths are a thing in this show so he will likely be turn off 😂

It actually IS a different Roswaal, cuz if you remember his full name is Roswaal L. Mathers, but the Roswaal in the story is Roswaal A. Mathers.... The letter of the middle name changes with each new generation, meaning that our current Roswaal is the 12th generation
