Happy 4th to you and your family
Sandy is Jens crafts where you got the alcohol inks at still in business. I have been trying to get my hands on the primary color pack for months. Since you are a business woman I wondered if you knew anything. Her inks have so much pigment I want them so much. I use lots of alcohol inks and I hear great things about her inks. Sorry to bother you about this but I have no other way and really wanted to know. Thank you in advance...hugs Sheryl..💙🎨💙
Absolutely beautiful! What sander do you use & how many coats of epoxy were used?
How darn cute is that....what size bag was that of the mini ice cubes?? I am impressed its a Awesome tumbler.. thanks for the inspiration Sandy.....hugs Sheryl 💙🎨💙
Thank you Sheryl! 💖 I got the 100g option but if you plan to do more than one I’d get the 200g option. 🤗
@@SandysOrganizedChaos thanks Sandy...
I have no idea how you worked the fake ice so well. It was a Hugh pain to get on top for me.
It is a bit of a pain. I used the side of my finger to help keep it piled then I would quickly hit it with the UV flashlight and remove my finger and finish giving it a light set.
@@SandysOrganizedChaos for me I found it easier to paint the lid with glitter glue and lay the lid in it and then drizzle resin on it.
Do you ever get medal splinters from the cup
No. I have customized thousands of tumblers over the years and have never come across the stainless splintering.
does anyone know where you can buy these stainless dome lid tumblers? It doesn't look like they sell them anymore.
Hi! I don't have the UV things. Can I do the top with epoxy?
Absolutely! I was just trying to get it done a bit faster. But I use regular epoxy often as a replacement. Just make sure you use thinner layers so it isn’t dripping off the top while it cures.
Miss Sandy, you didn't have to spin the lid having the epoxy on there? I was just curious as I want to try one of these!
I did two thin layers. Nothing dripped so no need to spin as long as you don’t load it too thick.
If you were going to do a Decalwas with a saying on it would you put the decal on before your glitters?
I apply decals after it is glittered and epoxied smooth. Then decal and epoxy again for a smooth seamless tumbler that will last years to come.
I noticed with the epoxy that you use your hand to rub it around instead of putting it on the turner.....does that seem to work better than putting it on the turner or is that just for certain projects....
This is just habit for me. I’ve done it this way for years. But I do notice that not as much epoxy gets inside the tumbler when I do it this way. And I am able to rub the epoxy better for a smother more even coat.
Sandy, do you have an alternate for the vinyl you used? Courtney no longer has it in her shop.
This is pretty close www.amazon.com/dp/B07B94J2L6?pd_rd_i=B074S5TMF3&pd_rd_w=WoeRv&content-id=amzn1.sym.386c274b-4bfe-4421-9052-a1a56db557ab&pf_rd_p=386c274b-4bfe-4421-9052-a1a56db557ab&pf_rd_r=MS8ZP3MQRFKD6JBKE61D&pd_rd_wg=BeD5E&pd_rd_r=58714cc8-5217-490b-a481-26ea52463fec&s=kitchen&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9kZXRhaWxfdGhlbWF0aWM&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEyRTZUS1Y4SEFNQlJNJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwMDIzNjcwMjk5UVZJNDBMOTlKTiZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNTkwMTEyM1VCOTVTNVk4WEpZTiZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2RldGFpbF90aGVtYXRpYyZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU&th=1&linkCode=sl1&tag=sandysorganiz-20&linkId=4113c3158ac279bccc45588e7627f64a&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl
Wow. That’s a long web address 😧🤣
I can’t find the inks on that site? Any recommendations?
I believe she will be restocking soon. But an alternative would be PDB creative studio. I hear she has lots of pretty inks.
OMGGGGGG SANDY!!!! Do you sell these or is this for sale? I’m a Navy Mom and am curious!❤️🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸❤️
I don’t sell. Sorry 😞. I’m not sure what I am doing with it yet. I’ll get back to you once I decide 😉🤗💖
@@SandysOrganizedChaos ok! Thank you!❤️
Did you have any problems with the epoxy melting the glitter?
No, I did not.
I get so frustrated! I’m new to all of this, but I feel like I’m doing more rework then actual successes! UHG!!!
Learning your craft as you go is completely normal. I myself am still learning every day even after all these years. Don’t fret too much! You’ll find what works best for you and then all those hardships will be a thing of the past. I know you’ve got this!
If you were going to do a decal saying
