The Poet - A short documentary by Lewis Farley

Update: On the 15th October 2020, my incredible grandad, Stan Frankland, unfortunately passed away. My grandad was an absolutely amazing man with a strong talent for poetry, over the years he has written thousands of poems, with this film only giving a glimpse as to how good his poetry actually was. He never once wanted to pursue poetry for any reason other than pure enjoyment and expressing his emotions. Whenever it was my birthday or a life event had happened, my grandad would always write up a poem expressing how he felt, I'll miss not being able to read anything new from my grandad, but I have many from the past 10+ years that I can re-read and remember how much of an amazing father figure he was to me.
Love you and miss you, Lewis.

I had been meaning to document my Grandad's poetry since earlier this year but struggled to find time in-between my other work and moving to a new city. Since transitioning back into my freelance role I've had a tonne more free time, so last weekend I travelled down to Blackpool and spent a few hours with my Grandad, Stan Frankland.
