I've used Leica microscopes for years. Their glass quality is uncompromising. The reticle is beyond belief. Best reticle for the price I've seen. Does not obscure the target.
Good review! Only one thing: it has a multi turn indicator on the elevation turret.
Under 3k this is my 110% go to scope!!!
I dont care about turn indicator and I HATE locking turrets.
This scope should be selling like hot cakes!!!
Came very close to buying this, went with the new March 4.5-28x52 I hope I don't regret it.
not sure about the reticle on the March... but 52 instead of 56 objective lens ? Bigger is better.
Exstrym good schoop
👍
Wich is better opticaly ? Between the leica PRS and the zero copromise ?
You can write us an email at info@optics-trade.eu and we'll give you our objective opinion.
According to Leica the L-4a reticle is in the First Focal Plane. Can you confirm please? You mention it in Second Focal Plane.
Leica PRS 5-30x56i riflescope has three reticle designs available, all of which are configured in the first focal plane. Sorry for any confusion. Thank you for watching!
I also want something like this for hunting but maybe a 4a with a ballistic hunting reticle for quick shots also what’s it like for low light use ?
Leica also has a L-4A reticle for hunting. This riflescope performs well in low light use.
Has both locking turrets and elevation indicator .... you are incorrect on both accounts.
Still amazes me you can spend this much and not get scope covers...
there are scope caps, yes they are cheap, but it does come with covers, they are nested (left side of the scope in the middle, they are actually the ones I use most often, even though I do have pop up scope covers for my Leica Prs
Brilliant review Teodor, your review video's are constantly improving and the quality of the information is on point! Thank you for your continued content. Will you be creating a video where you show case the view through the scope? I'd love to see one, especially so if you could add the magnification range as you adjust it so we can see exactly what the field of view looks like at each magnification range.
