They have been on a the right track for quite some time. Especially these unplugged versions and their own work is surprisingly refreshing and pure.
As a child of the 90s, I absolutely love this! Nothing flashy or over the top, a simple, yet elegant production with a great voice and a well-played guitar. Could listen to this all day!

Agreed, Mike has a sweet effortless touch on his guitars. This song has 2 distinct parts. We see him playing the chords and the solo parts at different points, but most likely he played them both to record this. Hopefully Cal or Annalise can play one part if they want to try it live on stage, or they have to loop it somehow, which makes timing the tempo a little harder.
They could also just stick to performing mostly their own work on stage though, making this last point a bit redundant :)

Listening to this was an absolute delight. With only a guitar and a voice you immediately calmed my spirit and I was captivated. The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that it came to an end.
