    • @drphilipadu
      @drphilipadu  Před 6 měsíci +1

      First, I wouldn't use auto code because the themes generated may not address the research questions. I suggest you manually code it using NVivo. Also, it would be great if every participant have their own transcript. This helps to determine who are connected to a specific theme.

    Question- assuming in your findings, your literature and knowledge confirms that what the teacher is describing is “differentiated instruction” which according to her, she uses as a responsive way to cater for the ESL students to match up with the other scholars. However, she described with many examples without using the term “differentiated instruction.” Maybe, she didn’t know that’s the name.
    In creating your theme, is it advisable to create you theme based on preferred phrase or words than to use differentiated instruction? This case, you create something unique, but whoever reads the excerpt and knows differentiated instruction knows what you are talking about.
    Or it’s okay to just use differentiated instruction?
    Sorry for the long text 🤐

    • @drphilipadu
      @drphilipadu  Před rokem +1

      Yes, you can label it as 'Using differentiated instruction'. When representing the findings, you will have the chance to define it and quote the participants to support the them (see: czcams.com/video/Gm3okfqvgNs/video.html)
