I am chanting lalitha sahasranamam for past 40 years. Goddess has blessed me with all wealth, children. She has also saved me from big accidents.

Indeed true. We have family tradition of worshipping shri chakra installed in our home by our ancestors along with Devi's image in a copper shield. The only mantra offered to her is Lalitha sahasranama. It's because of her our family is protected in several ways now. This I've seen so evidently in my life as well. Goddess Lalitha parameshwari is a kalpaga vruksham. She never leaves the side of the one who worships her lotus feet !
@ANJANA KANDOI Hi. One main rule when you have chakras or yantras or idols in house, you should never leave them in hunger. It's very important to do Anna neivedyam everyday. Or some fruits for offering. On special days like pournami or Fridays you can do payasam (sweet kheer) as neivedyam. As goddess is referred to as 'payasanna priya'. Sine you have bought Sri yantra recently, it is important to do pran pratishtha. Choose any Friday morning and do abhisek to deity n yantra with milk, sandal, curd, honey and turmeric water. Then offer flowers, dhoop, aarthi and any neivedyam. Chant Lalitha sahasranama daily for 21days atleast as it will energise the yantra. Then you can chant once in a week and perform pooja. But neivedyam should be done everyday , atleast lit one oil lamp n dhoop daily. This will do.

I was not intending to go to the nearby mahamariamman temple today but as i had planned for Monday, I didn't think the need for going twice.
The situation so happened, I was called by the very mother, mahamari.also incidentally my wife somehow had the thought of calling me, which I obliged humbly thinking SHE has something for me....
Now coming to sahasranama, for long I was thinking I should study the namas but didn't decide firm on when and how to start.
We went to the temple, it was free and had beautiful Darshan and that's when the sahasranamavali began...
It was a special feeling and I began to pick up a pdf I googled and started chanting together, though only for few mins.
I writing this fresh from my heart filled with her motherly grace...even more humbling to me is that today is a Friday, chaturdashi too.
Hearing it from this video is verily like hearing from HER.

Interesting, the importance of chanting during Navami, Chaturdasi, Waxing Fridays and all Full Moons...
My feeling: The pronunciation has to be proper. Its better to recite it slowly than try to attempt to break world speed record in chanting, which I have seen. Not even a single little visarga (the ' : ' sound )should no be ignored.
But above all, it has to be done with sincere Devotion. Be like a child trying to say its Mother's name with a lisp- the Mother's heart will melt with Love and She'll, no doubt, hug her child.
In the same way, whatever mistakes done while chanting is forgiven if there's devotion. Be like a 3-year old child in front of the Great Mother.

there are many singers on CZcams singing Lalitha sahasranamam. I am told it's important to read it correct way. I mean while reading may be we may not combine words or give breaks properly.

I am a strong believer of these shlokas Vishnusahastranama, aditya hridayam etc....and i chant these mantras very frequently.But i don't do these mantras for any benefit. I just feel good by chanting these shlokas.Please don't get me wrong, undoubtedly there are immense benefits if chanted with pure mind and soul.But i believe in my karmas more than anything. It has been said in the video that chanting this mantra is equivalent to teacing 1 crore students.Does it make any sense?Let us say there are two persons A and B.'A' chants these mantras on daily basis and 'B' has given his(her) whole life in teaching 1 crore students with full dedication but not chanted these mantras even once.One day they both go to Maa Durga (Lalitha devi) for her blessing. What do you think Sir ? What will be the outcomes of both?I can say with my full confidence in Maa Durga, she will be extremly happy with 'B'.I strongly believe that chanting these mantras with sincerity uplift us in all directions of life and hence motivate us to do something good for the society.If chanted ,while keeping the benefits of this maha mantra in to your mind, will surely give you 0% result.SO CHANT THESE MANTRAS WITH THE EMOTIONS LIKE YOU ARE CALLING YOUR MOTHER WITH 1000 NAMES.

Dear Sir, I am chanting Sri Lalitha Sahasranamam for the last 15 years. I chant at least twice daily since the beginning of this year. Have benefitted by the grace of Divine Mother Lordess Sri Lalitha Parameshvari Maha TRIPURASUNDARI. I do the chanting after shower as advised by your good self facing the Altar. I want a clarification - I don't do Sandhya Vandanam daily before chanting but do Gayatri Mantra Japam 32 times. Is it okay and will it yield me the benefits stated in Phala Sruthi.

No never read Lalitha Sahasranamalu during periods. Kindly don’t do that mistake .
You can read during your periods. The great mother herself is the divine feminine. If these youtubers are saying that the Goddess will be angry at you for praying to her during your periods, it's like telling The Goddess hates her own body and creation. You don't need to stop your devotion and prayers to the divine because of a natural phenomenon which the Goddess herself has created. Simply chanting and praying to female Gods is not enough, learn to respect and honour the feminine in your daily life also. Otherwise the benefits of chanting will cancel out because you are not respecting the very manifestation of Devi through women in your life. In fact during periods a woman is more in tune with the cosmic vibrations of the universe. You are not impure during that tine, you are closer to God as your intuition levels will be naturally higher than normal and it's ideal to get closer to the Universal mother. Those who say you are impure and God will hate you for praying during periods have not yet realized God and awakened. They think by simply chanting alone, they are spiritually enlightened and above other people when their own attitudes tell otherwise. To offer prayers, you don't need anyone's permission including all these men and women who say otherwise thinking they are holier than others when they are not.

Siva Nanthini Just read your message. Varahi is one of the important manifestations of srimata.
Other manifestation is Syamala Devi.
Srimata is iccha shakthi,shayamala is gyana shakthi and Varahi is Kriya shakthi.
When you chant or pray Varahi mata, you get kriya shakthi. Also you get abundance of food if you pray because Varahi has implementation tools in her hands. Male form of Varahi is Varahi Murthy , one of Sri Mahavishnu’s forms.
SHE is agyana chakreshwari residing in the center point between two eye brows. All nerves of humans meet at this point and that’s the reason Indians have kumkum dot in that area. So all evil things like black magic or someone controlling your mind fail on you. Since SHE is agyana chakreswari , you will have positive energy flowing all the time.
You can go to any temple of Varahi mata but in case you visit Baneras, ( (Kasi) don’t forget to visit varahi mata whose darshan can be had only before the day break.
Try to meditate Srimata,shyamala devi and varahi devi who are flanked on the right and left respectively of Sri Mata. Let Mata bless you.
