Please that stat is so misleading. The Rangers won those games with or without him. The Rangers are a team. He plays 5 minute a game. Give me a break

@@dinoparton6598 You're not wrong but the stat remains. The one thing he does is rile up the fans at home. They are electric when he plays but if you need that motivation in the playoffs you have a problem.
REMPE TIME
I think the lineup should stay the same, at least going into game 1. Sure, Rempe has a lot to learn, but his grit, size, willingness, and pure adrenaline he gives this team cannot be overstated. He's earned his right to play, whether by genetics or effort, I say both!
Carolina is a fast team and you can slow down speed with aggressive hitting and forechecking. Limiting their time and space will be KEY to beating them.
If things don't go well in game 1, then maybe you move some pieces, but for now I say stick with what's working and focus on the game plan.
It's nice to have the depth that we have. Every single player from Brodz to Igor has had a positive impact on this season, and I wouldn't hesitate to play any one of our boys.

We are going into round 2 with what is the next best team in the league outside of the Rangers that play a physical game. There is no way we are insering Chytil who has been out for a concussion and is prone to concussions after being inactive for several months. Putting Chytil back in the line up during the heat of the playoffs is a guaranteed sure fire way to get this kid injured again with a potential career ending concussion.
Rempe needs to be a fixture on this team.
If Chytil is ready then he needs to play. Rempe won’t be a factor against a fast team like the Canes. I would say roll him out there for game 1 to get the crowd going and set the tone. Canes injured two of our players this year.
Rempe does get the Garden electric. I don't think he would be a good choice on the road though. Rempe cost the team 2 goals in the first round. That hurts in a tight low scoring series that this will probably be. The Rangers aren't going to be scoring 4 goals a game against the Canes.
3 1/2 years... the force is strong with this one. congratulations from the revenant section of Connecticut. on the topic of Rempe, i think the idea that he wont play much and just be a body is a bit exagerated. I dont think he is panarin, or kreider, but he is being trained by them. also, he has scored and gotten assits at pivitable times. I think he is the right person for the job, and i think our vets will train him to be even better. Rempe rules, and so does his team.
Agree don’t fix what is not broken! Love Chytil, but no way he’s a real possibility here.
Ultimately trust our coach, who has pressed right buttons all year!!

It's kind of interesting you know Laviolette coached Washington He's coached the hurricanes and I think the only other team that's in the playoffs that he's coached is the Nashville predators maybe by some way they end up in the finals and we're playing them. Food for thought

I’d trade out Roslovic and stick Chytil on RW. Less responsibility for Chytil and he can just fire the puck.

Is chytil is available rempe has to be out. And in all honesty I think his services were much more tailored to face Washington. Carolina is a fast pressing team and I don’t see rempe having the same success against them so I’d probably take brodzy
