I know I’m quite a bit late viewing this video, but I have just now found it. Thank you so much for this tour. I’m 63 years old. My parents and I used to spend our vacations here way, way back in the day. Until I got “too old” to go on vacation with my parents. Roughly from 1968 until 1978. It brought back so many memories of the little shops that were around back then. And of driving to Pigeon Forge, as well as to Gatlinburg and Cades Cove. We were privileged enough to know Mr. Victor and Ms. Helen. They always made you feel welcome. My parents and I spent many an afternoon in the lobby when rain took away our pool time just talking with them. Wonderful to see that the family has carried on. I found myself crying happy tears from happy memories towards the end of the video. Thank you so much.

Very nice and well maintained hotel. You can tell they really take pride in their property.

We stayed here from July 18th to July 22nd, 2022. The place is super clean and the owner and staff was super sweet. We will using the place again. Townsend is beautiful and so peaceful! Loved it!

We love Townsend but have never stayed overnight in the area. This is one amazing review and interview. The mayor and owner was extremely nice and love the history on this. Love this place and definitely will put it on our list. The view......WOW! And Marie did awesome videoing!! 😀

Thanks for the review and interview. Love the history. In all my years coming out there I've never stayed in Townsend. I definitely want to stay there! It's definitely cleaner than many others.
I was looking online at their reviews and saw that someone said they brought their cat with them. So I just called out there and the guy at the desk wasn't sure about the charge if they even charge for cats. Got a call back when one of the owners is there. I have a cat that needs medication daily. It's getting hard to find a place that will board him. Don't know what's up with the local vets offices but several no longer board. I have a pet tent that can hold his food and litter box and he can stay in it when we are not in the room. Great to know. And hopefully can stay there on our next visit.

We are booking this place!! I’m weird about it being clean and I mean we don’t take anything in till I go in and look and strip back beds and look. This looked very nice! I love how quiet Townsend is but never stayed there before! Thanks for sharing this guys!!

What a nice place. I ll take fuctional over fancy anyday. The owner seems to be the most down to earth kind of guy. Will be a good choice to stay at if I decide to leave the rv at home.
