Better AI=less runs fail/runs are faster=less people need to buy runes with real money=loss for com2us We should be happy that they give us the 6* only opportunity.
Com2us actually designed these dungeons to make manual farming faster and more consistent than auto farming, hence the choice of requiring buffblock, a rare effect that is NEVER on S1. Improving the AI would be counterproductive.
Daniel Laplante I dont think thats what they're for. They're to add a new mechanic to the game and give us a wider varitety of units to use. Its also not even just with these dungeons, the AI is garbage in everything else aswell. It should atleast recognize when its optimal to use a skill such as a strip or defense break when its needed and corrolates to what u need to do to kill a boss. Galleon shouldnt use his third skill when theres one unit left in giants waves. AOE skills should be prioritized if there is more than one monster on the field, and the unit should be able to recognize when their skill will actually take effect, such as Rica not using her thirs skill if there is immunity up, or prioritizing a strip when theres benificial effects on a unit
The Steel Fortress' runs depend exclusively on the block beneficial effects skill. That's why you might always need two units that have that skill to guarantee a succesful run because Eirgar's AI is dumber than Lushen's...
I love the idea of this dungeon but the entire focus on stopping beneficial effects is kinda really stupid. the entire run depends on how fast you can get that debuff on the boss. if you fail to get it on you die if you get it on you win. Its so basic and really stupid. Changing it so he doesnt do more damage per debuff and making the towers a bit stronger to compensate will make it much better i bet. in other words 4 buffs makes in almost unkillable 0 buffs means he dies. Could open the idea of strip teams instead of buff block units?
2 mons with beneficial block doesn't guarantee a win. I have Pungbaek and Silia, and still can't beat B7. I threw on Elsharion, so if he does get beneficials they would be mine. Still cant 100% win.

on the punishers crypt i found a pretty safe team, with your help and ideas. So i just stuck, aside from fire vampire and rica (u can use the fire homie here), mantura emma and fire panda, runed with r5 runes, back when we still used him in r5. Really just mixed sets on him, a set of guard one new set where everyone gets +8% hp and another one of the new sets just with the deff one. Deff, Hp, Hp he has +56 spd, so optainable for everyone
One question, in the event i was going for miho but didnt get her till now, but could pick a zinc, should i pick him? I could then do the daphnis zinc team

Even though it's not f2p at all, i've been finding great success using Rahul as a lead for steel fortress. His leader skill, turn cycling + team survivability with skill 2, strip + block on skill 3 and overall pretty decent AI led him to straight up hard carry me here. I finaly found a use for my only ld5 in 6 years i'm so happy lol
i'm using 5star Zinc right now, ai working quite well - he always prioritises the 3rd (spellblock and atk-break aoe) only downside, he has 1 turn more cd then the vampires
For people who only have accounts that are a few months old maybe try Verdehile(lead), Fran, Loren, Silia, and either Kro or Naomi. You may get better runs with Naomi because Silia's AI can derp sometimes and not cast Curse soon enough. When that happens Silia and Kro might stack too many dots and take up the important spot for the anti-buff debuff.
I'm just starting and haven't had time to level all basic units. Can I replace the fire inugami with Kro? I'd rather level only one that has more uses... Thank you.
Been testing out Zinc and found him more consistent than many of the other units because his block beneficial effects is s3. AI seems better for using it
Do you get stunned with more chance if you have beneficial effects? The 3 star team seemed best because the only beneficial effects you have is attk increase with fran's immunity, which means you can't be stunned? With the dark vamp lord you have the vamp effect so more chance of getting stunned?
Bagel I was looking through my monsters and it seems that fire samurai looks like a good dps for sf because his secret skill goes through any damage negating abilities
Chiwu is my only bloc ben at momment so i use Pang in there to make sure that effect stays all up on there. side bonus, she reduces beneficial effect turn on boss and atk slow.
If you use any vampire and the derp, stick imesety inthere. His ai will give a turn to the vampire so he gets an extra chance to use skill 2. Speedtune him to move right after the vampire, or anyone who block effects.
I've been using Eirgar (L), Fran, Loren, Raoq, Laika and so far it only begins to fail when Eirgar dies before he can Weaken the boss (he is still a 5*). He is still 5* as he sat in storage until this update came out.
Hey Jew can you try Beast Hunters and Sniper MKs monster woth ignore damage reduction effects. It goes through shield.. Wonder if you can make a spd team out of that.

Just for people to know my experience. Ive been doing verdehile lead, fran, loren, eigar and mav. The reason im using mav is cause i dont have kro or roaq. I know i need one but i just joined back recently but if you have a kro or a roaq id recommend putting them in for mav in this team. Between the vampire lord loren and fran, i already have 5 debuffs. Combine with kros 3rd skill and basic putting brand and dots, he will be constantly pumping out dmg. Roaq is nice because he lowers more peoples skill cooldowns and all the people on this team have good useful basic attacks. Fran and loren attack break, spd break, def break, and att bar lower, verdehile attack bar increases, and eigar deals dmg and gets his 2nd skill off cooldown faster in case he missed.
Can you plss make a video what to do or what to focus on the new summoners war 6.0.. Many of us Early game players dont know what we should do now... GB10 has GB12 already but 45-60% chance to finish for us beginners.... Please make that video to guide us... More power
its pretty easy to make the ai work tbh just make it buff always has +2 priority then you can have +1 priority towards what is calculated to do the most damage or the debuffs can both be +1 priority and then it can just let the ai work and that would make the pve ai be pretty good
i use vamp lord fran loren raoq and zinc ( zinc is not even 6* ) it never fails, pretty easy to obtain, does its job. may not be the fastest team but it works
Don't forget Nisha. Might be time to take her out of storage. She has buff block, attack bar reduction, and buff reduction. Plus she is a fire unit. Also, I have not tested yet but I'm building 2A Aeilene for this dungeon. Her S1 can potentially keep boss out of fight and she bring massive bonus dmg from her passive. Pair her with Kro and the boss will go down in a few hits.
For people who have zinc, he is mvp for this dungeon: extremely safe option: zinc, fran, loren, kro, verde (verde lead all poop runes and around 99% win rate) slightly faster but not as safe: zinc, fran, raoq, kro, verde Zinc needs to go first to block beneficial effects event before first boss shield so its goes faster. Kro is better than raoq because with all debuffs he kills the boss in couple of shots :)
This dungeon is the easier of the 2 tbh.. the other one my main success team have been elsharion lead, veromos, 2a raoq, rica and bastet.. give good sustain and dots for the boss but is kinda infuriating some times when the aoe give the towers attack bar sadly.. but have been pretty consistant from what i have been doing at least not that much fails
I know her other kit isn't as useful but wouldn't Gina be better as a buff blocker than Silia because the block is on a three turn cooldown s2 that has perfect ai?
Thomas Hudson Nope that’s why I’m using both if I had Chiwu maxed I’d probably just use him. And yea they do derp but I also run Xiana and Masha so even if they get dismounted and need to wait for chiwu/pung to buff block I can still get a ton of damage off
I think this is the point com2us was trying to make. Maybe we should manual battle to use the skills that require a success, instead of an A.I. that can’t/ won’t use said skills when you need them to.
The dungeon AI in this game made PVE more infuriating than RTA...

You don't need 2 units with beneficial effect block, just one that uses that skill. Eirgar hates his S2 and avoids it at all cost.
That's why Zinc is better, he uses his 3rd all the time and lands debuffs

Rahul in 2016 was garbage. I was so disappointed. came back in 2021 and he's actually usable

Remember: you dont need the speed if you sync your team well you can use att crt dmg att teams also

Another strategy is to use the ben. effects against the boss with praha/juno's predict future. It kills the boss in 2 hits

If u take the old Korean lushen 4 raoqs nb10 and replace lushen with fran (not even on vio) and it works really good!
Maybe they could buff Water Vampire now? He also blocks beneficial and could use it for the Attack Type change due to artifacts.

I knew Silia had potential no one never saw it until the day steel fortress arrived.

I dont have raoq but i use hwa, and since i dont have fran i just use ritesh for his lead skill and the occasional heal. Boss doesnt take a turn
