Calling Lammys performance of Alexandra Burke's Hallelujah a flop is just wrong across board. Funny thing is, by the this logic, he even deserves more praise when we consider that the song didn't 'fit' his according to you but he found a way to handle it graciously. I have seen good singers given bad songs and it destabilises them but credit to Lammy. I don't even have a fave but like you said, truth transcend personal preferences and biases. Selah.
