Some people are asking why my main is the MF3RS2 M instead of the SM. 1. I like stickerless cubes more right now since chipped stickers actually make me do worse. 2. I wanted to try a stickerless in competition. 3. I got a good average with it in competition so I'll continue to use it for now. 4. I haven't competed that much in general. For example, my main was the valk for like half a year, yet I've never used the valk in competition because there were no comps. So I like testing out different feelings and how they work out in comp. All my home PBs (besides single) have been set with the SM, but in comp I'm better with the MF3RS2 M.
J Perm putting N35 magnets in yourself is also a good idea! Id did that and you wont really feel the magnets when turning but it will be a lot more stable and still very fast! its my main for a long time already!
e*ic h*cks I have N35 in my MF3RS2 and it's perfect because of the lack of speed. But like he said in the video N35 is most likely too weak to be useful (at least for people like him and me). But in the end everyone has different preferences in cube feel.
I haven't used a magnetic Little Magic, but I'd like to since the regular one is actually halfway decent. I also really want to try an MF3RS2 M though; the regular is ridiculously good!

I used the Supernova Little Magic M as my main for a looooong time. I tried to replace it a bunch of times but always went back to it no matter what. It's just recently been replaced finally but only by the Gan 356 X, so that should tell you something.
I use the cubicle little magic M. I gotta say, it is SO SO SO much better than the original magic. Bought it at northeasterns yesterday for 19 bucks. It was so good that I used it in 3x3 that day. I got a new comp PB average of 15.24. It is amazing and super cheap. 10/10 would reccomend
After being a scrambler at a competition I would say my opinion of the 3x3 market would look something like this: 1. MF3RS2M - Actually not good out of the box, but after setting up and magnetizing it became the cube where all my PBs are set. I use a weakly magnetic version as my main. I generally like the softer feel but it's still very stable and controllable. 2. WeiLong GTS2M - I find that it's quite similar to the MF3RS2, but it feels a bit faster and harder, probably because the competitors that I scrambled for had stronger magnets than what I normally use. 3. Valk 3 - My brother has a non magnetic Valk that I might actually prefer over magnetic ones. Generally a more stable but lacks the softer feel. The magnetic ones are more blocky. 4. Little magic M - only 1 competitor that I scrambled for used this cube and it's quite nice. Feels like YueXiao and Yan mixed. 5. Gan Air SM - there were some good ones and some super tight-feeling ones that I find it harder to turn. Even with the better ones, it's really not my kind of cube at all. It generally feels the snappiest, probably due to strong magnets.
I picked up a yuxin little magic because of your review, i felt like it was a little uncontrollable so i decided to put 4x2 mm neodium magnets into it. its been main main ever since
Self-magnetized a YLM here. Just a heads up: I agree that YLM needs stronger *feeling* magnets than the RS2M, but keep in mind that the little magic has very thin plastic making even 4x2 N35s feel really strong.
My friend owns a Speedcube Customline Yuxin Little Magic M (a now discontinued line previously owned by Speedcube Australia), and it’s really nice; the corner cutting is great and the magnets click into place really nicely. Of course, I haven’t tried an MF3RS2M (only the non-magnetic MF3RS2), but I would assume that they’d be pretty similar in terms of performance and the difference would probably depend on the individual.
I tried a Yuxin Little Magic M, and it was pretty good. Definitely one of the best cubes on the market. The Cosmic one looks super good. I might pick one up in the near future.
With my previous main being the little magic m I can say the magnets are extremely strong and effective which I like and is very fast but currently my main is the tent yun
I don't have a cosmic one, but I have one that I bought at a competition that was set up by someone else and it is my OH main. It could be my 2H main but I like the SM way too much. I want mine to be fast for OH so it's easier to turn but it's very smooth and I like it.

The tutorial that you made were soo good that using those tricks and tips I'm sub-20 now.. thanks for the efforts that you do while making these kind of amazing videos....just keep up this work and we all fans will love you...
The thing that I like about j perm is that he uses cubes that are not too expensive (Gan 356 Air Sm) but gets good times. This helped my times improve because I was very discouraged because all top speedcubers were sponsored and had 49-100 dollar speedcubes at the time. All I am saying is thanks for using less expensive cubes that the average person can buy.
I use a yuxin little magic, even when I had the chance to buy a valk 3,I chose the little magic, its the best cube,it feels like a 20$ cube but its 4 times cheaper

@@MrinkDilk I just magnetized my YLM over the weekend with 4x2mm N35 magnets, and well.. I'm super happy about it, I'll have to set it up in a couple of days, but my first impression was just: WOW! I wouldn't go any stronger than N35, I feel like that's the perfect magnet strength for this cube :)
The little magic M is easily my main over the YJ MGC. I bought it at a competition recently where I also tried Gan's SM and UM and the little magic M fits my turning style and preferences a lot better.
Ordered it this one. It hasn't come yet, but I searched it to see how it is, and 1. J Perm has a video, that's nice and 2. it's really good for such a low price (8 euros)

So I purchased two cubes. Little magic supernova and stock little magic. I magnatized the stock one and lubed it up and tensioned it... The two were near identical... It must took me a evening of fixing the cube up,few bucks of magnets, and little lube... Not hard. So I DID end up putting weight 1 in the cube with little lunar lube. The weight 1slowed it down little to much while lunar speeds back up. But the slow down actually helps allot with slowing down (which is needed) the little magic is my main right now. It's a comfortable cube, cheap, and is great. I'm a beginner with 50sec solving times. But I own lot of cubes and like little magic for price and usability. Diptoneel De But I must say u got a valid point... I was furious as I thought it was insulting but later I thought it over and.... U'r right👍 We should buy the stock little magic untill sub 15 then magnetic cubes like weilong2/valk3/air series. Happy cubing....
I bought the proshop little magic from cubicle and it came with too much too lube in it, it made the cube slow, I had to clean the whole cube and apply the right amount of lube for me now its a lot faster and very in control.
My friend is also a speedcuber but with a forceful turning style and he ended up popped all of the pieces out, at the time i was still a newbie to the cubing scene; I just threw away the pieces ;( i have a smoother but quick turning style, going for efficiency and accuracy
Can you make a tutorial on orozco for bld? I've heard it's a great intermediate method that helps in transitioning to 3 style, but currently there aren't too many resources about it. I really liked the way you taught OP and how clear and easy you made things. so uh yea
From its name, the little magic with magnets works just like magic. And I just use effortless flicks with this rubiks because I solve calmly every time me and my friends have a race.
For me I agree that the little magic requires a really relaxed and flowy turning style, but that style mixed with magnets just didn't feel right to me. It made everything feel choppy instead of relaxed and smooth. So I switched to the MF3RS2. It's slower and has no magnets so not only can i use a more aggressive turning style but it still feels smooth and flowy to me. I did order a MF3RS2 M just to see if a slower cube with magnets will feel good, but it hasn't come yet so I'm using the non-magnetic one for now.
Hi J Perm! I’m currently about sub-27-ish My regular solves are about 27-29 seconds. When I do a bad solve I do about 32-34 seconds. I’m currently struggling with mostly planning out the cross at inspection, I don’t know Look Ahead yet but my average F2L time is about 10 seconds And at making the cross I do ALOT of pauses and chokes, and for example I do a cross, I kinda do like a 4-Gen or something?! I don’t know, I just randomly plan it out while I’m solving and I know it’s a bad habit. I watched some videos about planning the cross, and I do solve it in under 8 moves but it’s just that I choke alot (But I’m not dead :P) and I do alot of rotations sometimes. I usually don’t rotate on 2-3 Gen crosses. Any tips? Edit: By the way, what cube do you recommend that costs less than 10 dollars? In my country 1 dollar is 50 pesos o_O I’m currently using an MF3RS and it’s pretty much the same as other budget cubes, I lube it once a month and also remove the dust every Saturday. When properly lubed and cleaned, it’s kinda like a new Thunderclap? (I don’t have one but when estimated yeah) so yeah thanks in advance if you ever answer ;-;
i got the yuxin little magic stickered and stickerless and i didn't like it AT ALL. it was too light and loose, it caught but it was fast. got me some 4x2's at 35 neodimium magnets and made the mod cause it was either that option or not even use the cube (yes, it was THAT bad). to my surprise not only made it better, it made it better than the valk 3 i own!. i wouldn't call it my main but thinking about it i don't even have A main, i just use all my cubes and i like all my cubes being awesome.
For someone who wants speed AND control, but is on a budget, I’d recommend the QiYi warrior w. It’s extremely controllable, yet fast, and is stickerless. Overall amazing cube for beginners, and professionals who have a hard time controlling their force. If speed is what you want, there’s no competition with the little magic. Pick what you think suits your style. This is from a person who has a shit ton of cubes, and has alternated between the warrior and the little magic as their main. Good luck, I hop this helped you.
With M slices, all the algs have M and U, but i switch hands and do M and U' like you, J perm. Just wondering if there is a penalty or if it is just preference. Thanks!
The little magic elite m is my main, and it feels really smooth and buttery, which is what i look for in cubes. i average 15 on it. I have never tried the mf3rs2,so can someone plz tell me if it fits the desription of the magic?
I used N35 4x2 in mine and it turned out really good. I do have to tell you that you won't feel the magnets, but it does stay in cube shape and it is still fast. The difference between the non-magnetic and the magnetic one is huge and I am very happy that I magnetized it.
My GTS v2 M is much quieter than the one presented here. Maybe because I don't turn it that fast. But the Little Magic M is so quiet! Like my GTS M when turning it slowly. Wow!
i only ever have had 1 3x3 which is the v cube 3x3 so i don't know witch i would prefer so i would u guys pls recommend me one that would be good for a beginner like me. also i would perrefer the one with the better corner cutting cus i hate that the v cube has horrible corner cutting.

Diptoneel De But I must say u got a valid point... I was furious as I thought it was insulting but later I thought it over and.... U'r right👍 We should buy the stock little magic untill sub 15 then magnetic cubes like weilong2/valk3/air series. Happy cubing....
I also have a stickerless yuxin little magic m
It's amazing and my main
What is your average?
I got to say I agree with this guy my main is too the yuxin little magic m
@@VKCUBED I have and just learnt cfop from beginner and AVG is 35-40...pb is 23 from beginner method. (By little magic eM)
@@ayurvedaandmuchmore4823 OK I avg 12 second with cfop but know I am learning rouxx
Should I magnetize it myself or have it setup
I bought the proshop little magic from cubicle and it came with too much too lube in it, it made the cube slow, I had to clean the whole cube and apply the right amount of lube for me now its a lot faster and very in control.
Woah the shades are epic
My friend is also a speedcuber but with a forceful turning style and he ended up popped all of the pieces out, at the time i was still a newbie to the cubing scene; I just threw away the pieces ;(
i have a smoother but quick turning style, going for efficiency and accuracy
i prefear the Liitle magic 3x3 M V1 beacouse is so controleble, it lock-up 3 or 4 times on a solve and the magnets are pretty strong,i recomand
I ordering one so this was a really great review
I'm ordering one tomorrow
Cosmic - Cubing & More! How is it?
Can you make a tutorial on orozco for bld? I've heard it's a great intermediate method that helps in transitioning to 3 style, but currently there aren't too many resources about it. I really liked the way you taught OP and how clear and easy you made things. so uh yea
I'm thinking about teaching comms but it's low priority right now. we'll see!
Ok thanks!
Could you make an intermediate method tutorial for 3x3bld corners like 3 style
Ngl i would back up main the cosmic little magic m cause it sounds so goooood
J perm, you should try an average of 100 with the Yuxin little magic m and the mf3rs2m and compare to see which is better.
The cosmic little magic is an amazing cube.
Thanks for making video.....
AS i was going to buy a yuxin little magic m soon but not with speed cube shop...
With cubelelo
I bought from cube lelo
Dont ever lube it
T
Lubing little maguc will make it go flash fast
Hi J Perm!
I’m currently about sub-27-ish
My regular solves are about 27-29 seconds. When I do a bad solve I do about 32-34 seconds.
I’m currently struggling with mostly planning out the cross at inspection, I don’t know Look Ahead yet but my average F2L time is about 10 seconds
And at making the cross I do ALOT of pauses and chokes, and for example I do a cross, I kinda do like a 4-Gen or something?! I don’t know, I just randomly plan it out while I’m solving and I know it’s a bad habit.
I watched some videos about planning the cross, and I do solve it in under 8 moves but it’s just that I choke alot (But I’m not dead :P) and I do alot of rotations sometimes. I usually don’t rotate on 2-3 Gen crosses. Any tips?
Edit: By the way, what cube do you recommend that costs less than 10 dollars? In my country 1 dollar is 50 pesos o_O
I’m currently using an MF3RS and it’s pretty much the same as other budget cubes, I lube it once a month and also remove the dust every Saturday. When properly lubed and cleaned, it’s kinda like a new Thunderclap? (I don’t have one but when estimated yeah) so yeah thanks in advance if you ever answer ;-;
i got the yuxin little magic stickered and stickerless and i didn't like it AT ALL. it was too light and loose, it caught but it was fast. got me some 4x2's at 35 neodimium magnets and made the mod cause it was either that option or not even use the cube (yes, it was THAT bad). to my surprise not only made it better, it made it better than the valk 3 i own!. i wouldn't call it my main but thinking about it i don't even have A main, i just use all my cubes and i like all my cubes being awesome.
The cheetah call j prem doing j prem "the uncle of the master"
For someone who wants speed AND control, but is on a budget, I’d recommend the QiYi warrior w. It’s extremely controllable, yet fast, and is stickerless. Overall amazing cube for beginners, and professionals who have a hard time controlling their force. If speed is what you want, there’s no competition with the little magic. Pick what you think suits your style. This is from a person who has a shit ton of cubes, and has alternated between the warrior and the little magic as their main. Good luck, I hop this helped you.
Red Eye which would you prefer the Yuxin or the warrior
AutisticYellowKid7000 at this point, the yuxin. It’s faster, and now that I’m a bit better at control, it’s easy to use
Have you tried magnetising it? If you have, what magnets suits best for ylm?
The magnetic auxin little magic is a great cube, the magnets are perfect and it is just perfect
Lol I own 10 little magics and magnetized one but used waaaay too strong magnets. Sweet video though!
With M slices, all the algs have M and U, but i switch hands and do M and U' like you, J perm. Just wondering if there is a penalty or if it is just preference. Thanks!
The yuxin little magic is great but the grip is not the best if you have sweaty hands while cubing.
where that lighting came from
by the way nice video
i have a light on the ceiling in this room
J Perm it is so cool hope you continue this type of lighting for your future videos
Thanks for the video, cause I have yu Xin Little Magic M and...
I magnetised it myself and it is amazing🤩
Which magnets did u use?
Luqman Hakim n35 but n50 would be good too
The little magic elite m is my main, and it feels really smooth and buttery, which is what i look for in cubes. i average 15 on it. I have never tried the mf3rs2,so can someone plz tell me if it fits the desription of the magic?
if you are going to magnetize it, get smaller magnets than they stay to us becuz the edges are really hallow so the plastic is thinner.
I plan to magnetize one myself, what type of magnets do you recommend?
I used N35 4x2 in mine and it turned out really good. I do have to tell you that you won't feel the magnets, but it does stay in cube shape and it is still fast. The difference between the non-magnetic and the magnetic one is huge and I am very happy that I magnetized it.
For me still Yu Xin little magic(not magnetic) is main bcoz I have only one speed cube 😂
Me too I am sub 20
I have a cube whose colour fades each day you use, and it makes lots of noise when rotated.
Edit: And that's my only 3*3
This is my first cube
Mee too 😂
Me too and my average is 16
My GTS v2 M is much quieter than the one presented here. Maybe because I don't turn it that fast. But the Little Magic M is so quiet! Like my GTS M when turning it slowly. Wow!
I magnetize both YLM and MF3RS2. And I like YLM. I like fast cube.
I've bought the little magic.
I'd like to know what type of magnets I should buy and some recommendations to not screw up the cube
N35 4x2
Put mf3rs springs in your GTS2M please, it makes a noticeable change in the stability.
I'll try it!
I just set my PB on a little magic M. Totally worth the investment
My main is the yuxin little magic(non magnetic) over the yuexiao edm
Does the Little Magic use the new Yuxin stickerless shades?
I’m disappointed my first speed cube was gonna be the yuxin little magic and I get it tomorrow but hopefully I Like it
GoldenNUKE 4700 what do you think? Haha
i only ever have had 1 3x3 which is the v cube 3x3 so i don't know witch i would prefer so i would u guys pls recommend me one that would be good for a beginner like me. also i would perrefer the one with the better corner cutting cus i hate that the v cube has horrible corner cutting.
The magnets on my cosmic little magic are the perfect strength
