  • A group of safari-goers have a rare run-in with a "big tusker" elephant on a drive in Mopani, South Africa, on November 15.
"Big tusker Ezulwini is known for his love of vehicles. This close encounter is filmed from inside the vehicle by driver Brass Brassett as the elephant makes a turn to say 'Hi' and, in doing so, scrapes his magnificent tusks along the vehicle," the safari guide told Newsflare.

An interesting detail about tuskers like Ezulwini here, is that you have less to worry about with them being aggressive than a younger male, or any elephant with broken tusks. Tusker's tusks only get that large when they're more peaceful, and don't engage in fights. This big boy clearly is very curious and unlikely to harm anyone as long as they obey the safety rules, and let him roam in peace.

It’s truly a shame that there’s so few big tuskers like this guy lumbering around.
