Dear Mr. Yuval Noah Harari, I am Palestinian with many relatives in Gaza and you are one of my few intellectual heroes. I only wish that one day we will both live in peace and no force (from your side or mine) will ever stop us from reaching a point in which we can publicly meet and have a discussion over coffee without fear of either side. Just like you made up with the Germans, we urge you as a great thinker to find a way for us to live in peace. It is not wrong (even if you’re not a politician) to run for office and the day that people like yourself can run a unified country will be a dream for me. Please be always part of the hope that we all are looking for when it comes to peace and the idea of a unified state for both nations should not be something impossible or far fetched but it will set a huge example of tolerance to the entire world and could potentially end world violence for a very long time. No matter what your opinion is, my respect for you transcends all boundaries. I hope that you will read my message. ❤
