I didn’t know Ghirardelli had melting chocolates 😍I also love the silicone mat idea! Sometimes wax paper doesn’t always allow my strawberries to pop off cleanly!

G🍓🍓d Day Chef 🇺🇦🧑🍳. I was making these once and I had some of the biggest 🍓'S I've ever seen. While holding the top and shaking off the excess chocolate the leaves fell off with the inner stem. It revealed a big, hollow 🍓. I made a simple vanilla sweetened cream cheese and stuffed the 🍓🍓. Then I used a toothpick and dipped the entire 🍓 in the chocolate and let the chocolate hold back on the leaves. Cannoli cream would have been better. Those Tuxedo ones were adorable. How about a white suit.?. With a little food coloring you could get very colorful. Hope you and your hubby have a Blessed and Beautiful Valentine's Day.🇺🇸✝️🇺🇦✌️💞🙏🌹🥀🥰🧑🍳😘

The cream cheese filling was a great save! I've had empty berries in the past and it's quite frustrating, especially when you're expecting a full and juicy berry!

Is there a reason why you no longer use the toothpick technique where u stab the toothpick in the strawberry and let it dry on styrofoam? Do you like this technique better where you lay the strawberry on the silicone mat?
Hi! You can definitely use the toothpick technique! Both techniques work well. If you want the strawberries to be perfect all around without the flat side, I recommend using the toothpick method :)
