Hi Beth. I'm from Southwest Missouri and ticks are a problem here too. I have used Endure fly spray or Pro Force fly spray in the blue bottle to keep ticks off my horses. Both are sweat resistant formulas. I even spray some on my pants and boots to keep myself tick free. Do not apply to human skin. Repel or Off don't work nearly as well as the Endure or Pro Force blue bottle. Happy trails from the beautiful Ozarks.🐎🐎

Hi, Kelley. Nice to meet you and thank you for the ideas. My local farm store has $10 of a gallon of Endure right now, Maybe yours does too? It’s my go to fly spray.

I use Equi-spot. Usually keeps ticks off for a month or two. 45% permethrin.

I use Tick and Flea shampoo made for dogs. I put in on the legs when we get back from riding, rubbing against the grain of hair. I do not rinse it off.

Hi, Cledus. We’ve been using without issues. Started applying it to horse camp stalls, horse legs and tails a couple years ago. The duster makes it easier to apply.
