Perhaps it is a different culture/custom in Indonesia, but should you to perform Silat in Malaysia, rising legs in front from main guests is considered extremely rude. If the jurus/bunga do have high kicks try to alter them into low kicks (lower than belly button) at least when you're in front of important peoples (bride/groom, nobles, ministers, kings, ect). If you're wearing the Keris, twist the handle facing backward when you're in front of higher ranking people. Just a friendly reminder should you come to Malaysia in the future and perform Silat.
