In Conversation with Maria Berrío

Artist Maria Berrío, whose art is the subject of the 2021 RAW (Recognition of Art by Women) exhibition, Esperando mientras la noche florece (Waiting for the Night to Bloom) joins Cheryl Brutvan, Director of Curatorial Affairs and Glenn W. and Cornelia T. Bailey Curator of Contemporary Art, for a virtual walk-through conversation about her remarkable paintings.
This program continues a series of conversations between Cheryl Brutvan, Director of Curatorial Affairs / Glenn W. and Cornelia T. Bailey Curator of Contemporary Art, and artists participating in the RAW (Recognition of Art by Women) program at the Norton Museum of Art. Artists have included Jenny Saville, Njideka Akunyili Crosby and Phyllida Barlow.
