Canadian Goose is good to -30C and filled with duck feathers at 650 fill. This is by far, a much warmer jacket with superior Goose feathers and 900 fill. Unfortunately, CG isn't as good as people think.

Just got the OSC's Mission and it's warmer than the Snow Mantra. All jackets made from OSC are also waterproof and machine washable, whereas cg jackets can't do either.
CG has announced that they will to stop using real fur starting next December. I can't believe that CG is bending down before PETA because I think CG is known for their parkas for their functionality, and the coyote fur trim is part of CG, but now it has become nothing but a high-end fashion brand. CG's parkas have decreased in their quality compared to 10 years ago and their parkas are not waterproof nor machine washable.
I've sold my CG parka and I'm departing from CG products for good.

@@GirlSmotheredToDeath The OSC mission jacket is a copy of CG's Resolute Jacket, CG's dog sledding jacket, with a few changes. The interior mimics the Snow Mantra and the interior of OSC has the reflective coating for heat reflection which GC does not feature. I can tell by these comments, people here haven't actually owned the Snow Mantra. The Snow Mantra is the only CG jacket that is filled with goose down, all the others are filled with duck down. The reason the jacket isn't waterproof is because it doesn't rain in extreme sub-zero temperatures so being waterproof isn't a needed requirement, breathability is. The garments are treated with a DWR coating but after a long time it does wear off and needs to be recoated. The Snow Mantra is filled with significantly more down than any other CG jacket and though it's in CG's "highest category, -30c or less", it is definitely too warm for -30c conditions. Don't fall for the marketing hype of what a jacket is rated for, I can show you pictures of Snow Mantra in use with the NSF at the South Pole. I can't do the same for OSC so that should tell you something. I've owned my Snow Mantra for over a decade, and it's the only article of clothing I've ever had that's appreciated in value! Maybe I'll make a video of it describing the features and some history of the jacket brand.

@@unclewiki You need to do more research before commenting because you said "I see pictures of CG's snow Mantra being used in Antarctica but the same can't be said for OSC." Go to OSC's main website and click on "testimonies" and you'll see images of the OSC's Mission parka used in the Yukon Quest and Antarctic expeditions. You can also click on the "about" tap from the top of the website and click on "Mission" to learn more about it. Also, look up a video made about the OSC's Mission parka called "OSC Mission coat: made for the arctic" by a youtuber named "Henry Flies" to see the full features of the Mission parka and remember to scroll down to the comments section to see others' opinion on the Mission parka vs snow Mantra, and do the exact same for a video called "snow Mantra field test" by CZcamsr named "Robby's reviews". A CZcamsr named "Canadian Prepper" and you can check out his video called "3 levels of cold weather clothing" and go to 9:46 time stamp and listen to what he has to say about OSC vs CG's parkas' qualities.
The OSC Mission is rated down to -60 degrees C whereas the CG' snow Mantra is rated down to -30 degrees C.
Having 800 fill down in the Mission parka, waterproof fabrics, and being machine washable for the entire line of OSC parkas and jackets, the OSC' entire line beats the hell out of CG parkas.
OSC's customer service is far superior to CG's from personal experience.
Lastly, you said "don't fall for marketing hype" I think it's ironic because you're the one that's falling for the marketing hype because CG is over rated and you're just paying for the brand.

@@katsaras1 Well I'd like to tell you some stuff! The fillpower also know like CUIN on the OSC parka is 650 witch is good but not the best. While the down in the Snow mantra parka is 675 fill power also know as CUIN! So the Snow mantra parka is better that way. The so called "800 Loft premium down" you said is not the down. It's the 800 lining that hold the down inside the jacket which she in the video said "the so called extra warmer factor"! So next time you judge someone, check the facts first! And if its that you want a really good quality coat I recommend the Fjällräven Expedition Down parka NO.1! THAT jacket have 800 fill power also know as CUIN and uses 95% white goose down and 5% Supreme Microloft feathers! Unlike OSC and Canada Goose which both uses 80% white goose down and 20% goose feathers! But the part with the waterproof and windproof is correct! Also the quality of down can vary, from 400 CUIN up to 800 CUIN which is the best! If I didn't make it clear CUIN is the same as Fill power. Tho I read the specifications of the jacket on their website it can be misleading so I understand you! Hope you have an awesome day my friend!

@@mcwaff8661 As this jacket also my friend! The thing is that CG nowadays has become more of a fashion brand. I have been to their stores multiple times through the years and had the luck to try on a lot of their jackets including the snow mantra, the resolute and the expedition parkas and also some other, older (and incredibly nice I must say) models such as the Banff parka (which I own), their Chilliwack bomber and some others that I don't actually remember. I must say that until the early 2000's their quality was pretty much unmatched and I'm happy to own a jacket from those years. BUT, I've been to their store, actually a couple of weeks ago to try on a the new Snow Mantra Parka in order to buy for my work, and I must say, I'm almost disappointed to what an once absolutely amazing jacket has become. The outer shell feels all thin and not as heavy duty as it used to be, the jacket instead of been redesigned in order to fix some of the problems it had (like the fleece lined pockets that in extreme conditions are not very helpful keeping your hands actually warm) and maybe use a better quality material for the outer shell, it actually gotten worse. And also now costs more than twice as much as it cost about 8-10 years ago (then around 800-850 dollars Canadian, now 1650 dollars Canadian) and you don't get twice the jacket but a lesser one at that. But that's just my opinion. I won't say they are not good jacket, simply they are not what they used to be. OSC now is just the old Canada Goose, that not many people knew and because of that they didn't sell so many jackets every year, so they make few jackets and thus they dedicate more effort to it and instead of trying to be a luxury fashion brand are (still at least) more of a functional clothing brand.

I have a Snow Goose resolute and my OSC Mission is much warmer. The Resolute and Snow Mantra coat material isn't very thick and the Canada Goose coats are super light weight with only 650 fill. The OSC Mission is 800 fill, significantly heavier and the coat material is WAY thicker and stronger. I was walking around in -20 windchill weather in Toronto and I felt completely warm in my OSC Mission with only a thin long sleeve t shirt underneath. Literally everyone around me looked like they were in pain and rushing to get inside or to escape the cold weather and I was calmly walking around at a slow pace because I felt zero cold. In fact unzipping my coat from time to time was necessary to let the heat escape because it is TOOOO warm.
