    Thanks for this video. I bought this module using your link in the description and it arrived yesterday. I attempted to fit it this morning but i was using the wrong coloured leads and thought I'd been sent the wrong kit (Says Porsche on the box, and no instructions included). Found your video again which helped me select the right coloured lead, and select the pins correctly. All seems to work, but i only got sound for a minute or two and then it cut out. I've disconnected it all again and will have another go when ive got more time on my hands. Wish they'd included instructions, I'd have had it done hours ago!

      Yeah I can imagine without any tutorial it’s not the nicest jobs when leads come with different colours! Are you IOS or android? I think I made ref to it but I’ve also connected my phone via Bluetooth through the cars original head unit, then in the options select “get audio from Bluetooth” or something like that. Also in Spotify I’ve turned off the car play mode, for some reason it didn’t play audio properly when in car mode. 🤷‍♂️

      @@TBagger489 thanks for the reply. I'm using Android Auto.
      With those settings, does the SEAT system need to be in 'Media' function to play the music? It doesn't seem to play through AA as I expected it to, and I think that might be why. Or am I incorrect?
      Appreciate the help so far 👍

      @@TBagger489 ok, that makes sense now. Basically all Audio passes through the media channel over BT, while the visual stuff is handled by the module.

    Hi, I have a 2015 leon with Mirorlink only, so thanks for the tutorial and short review of this module. I would like to ask you a favor, could you test if it automatically switches the UI to the original Seat UI when you park? Because of the parking assist. Or is it necessary to switch the UI manually when parking? thanks!

    • @TBagger489
      @TBagger489 Před 3 měsíci

      Hi, no it stays in the CarPlay mode when parking. Switching back is easy but it doesn’t do it automatically. There is some options in the UI for aftermarket camera on/off but I’m not sure what it does - nothing so far 😂

      So you can flick between the input modes as normal in the normal seat UI, I haven’t tested the radio whilst using the module but I’m 99.99% sure it still works since the cars audio comes from the original cars input source (Bluetooth) meaning all the original stuff works as normal. Hopefully I’ve explained this right, I’ll double check next time I’m in the car. 👌
