That's the goal, I have demos of other old deleted content such as old Castle Never or Abberrant's Assault, even old Protector's Enclave. It's a great pro-tip for keeping access to (old) maps that's often overlooked ^^
This is nice, but for me, the only way I mean it when I say "they shouldn't remove it" is the gameplay reasons. I've tried to get a few of my old FFXI and FFXIV friends into this game and generally get the same response: "there's not enough content there". So seeing them remove existing content when they don't need to is incredibly frustrating. This game could be so much more popular if it just had more content. (Also this whole push to reinvigorate old content with scaling makes removing this make even less sense.)
going from XI or xiv to this is never gonna happen, unless you like shitty f2p Systems (fkn lootboxes) your finished with neverwinter within 2 months... compared to final fantasy jobs you have like no skills to use and Hella bland classes. id argue that even a Patch for xi has more content than a full mod for neverwinter...only the Events are better than what SE offers. NW is nice to play through and have some fun with the lore if your into d&d but against a Sub based MMO there is no chance at all... i Gotta say i would love to see an Event like day of the dm in xiv tho...
I'm not sure I'd say Neverwinter lacks content. It has a lot of content. The problem is that the content is VERY repetitive; so more accurately I would say it lacks unique content. Once you've done one campaign, it's like you've done them all. I think if each campaign was much more unique and not "copy paste" like the others, the game would have much much much much more to offer!
@@EnyoNW Eh, "a lot of content" is relative. This to me is a better game despite the lack of content. But there's no doubt in my mind it's less content, so removing some just irks me. Would love to see this game get up to around 30 different trials in the random queue like I'd been used to, for example. :)
Haha yeah I had considered doing a video breaking it down but, didn't have time. Might still do one, but put some pre-recorded demos in a google drive or something for people to access. Maybe a patrion - that's what the cool kids use these days right? xD
@@EnyoNW I haven't reviewed the recordings I took, but I spent about 5 to 10 minutes flying through the 7 zones. And was able to get the dragon in Rothe Valley. I'm looking forward to seeing what it kept from that. And since Throne of Idris is back, I went ahead and did that one with the Bard. - @Justkickinit
Hahaha sure! I sometimes do livestreams while editing / creating cinematic videos and I do have an (older) video explaining it too but I've learned a lot more since then so 😅
They should delete storm kings thunder and sea of stupid ice and that entire campaign. It is an absolute dumpster fire map. Who likes fishing in neverwinter anyway. Sharander is by far the most beautiful map and the first map and campaign I fell in love with when I started playing in Module 3 dread ring
I'm not sure they plan to remove SKT but I have a hunch (nothing to back it up, just a hunch) that we could expect every legacy campaign to receive some kind of re-vamp ^^
@@EnyoNW I have NWPC installed on my Laptop, alas, it's too Laggy. I havent a machine that will run the PC version properly lol. Even at the lowest settings, I lag so bad haha.
@@ennileah Even if your PC can't run the live server, it should be able a run demo quite smoothly! I'll send you a sharandar demo over Discord, try and open it on your laptop and let me know how it plays 😁 you'd be surprised how smooth it'll be
Unfortunately yes 😖 I'm working on maybe adding some kind of hub where players (of any platform) can download my own demos and play them back from their own PC's though. That way you can still enjoy demos without actually building a character on PC.
Slightly misleading Enyo. It's not accessing it's only like watching a movie. Plus we on console do not have this mechanic. Credit for showing though 👍
It's not meant to be misleading or click-bait, sorry you feel that. The reason I use "access" is because it's the most appropriate word. You can load the map whenever you want, freely explore the map with your camera - you may not be able to play inside of it, but, it's definitely not like watching a movie. A movie is something you watch, this is something you can freely explore as much as you like :) And yes, it sucks that console doesn't have a demo_record system >
