this is what fnaf 1 looked like to a kid in 2014 also the inspiration from vibingleaf is in full swing here (ironic considering he's also doing a fnaf 1 reimagining)
The energy this environment is giving off is something I can only describe as grungy. Dark, drab, oozing with bleak dread. There are no bright colors, there is no fun music or anything resembling ambience. The immersion of the environment really aids these feelings. It feels real. It feels like I’m pulling down a giant metal window cover. Even the smallest of details like having to pull the cover off of the light button help so much. And of course, being so focused on your cams in a way unlike many other fan games helps the feeling too. The deep immersion makes the jumpscare ACTUALLY SCARY. That can’t be understated. The way I felt so unsettled by it after it snapped me out of my immersive trance..unlike anything else I’ve seen from fan games. And one last detail..the red around Bonnie’s eyes is amazing. Just subtle enough yet perfectly present.
@@Shiny_Specter5757 As seen in the video, I assume the cameras switch automatically instead of usually being manually selected. The Player can speed up the switching process tho, to get to a specific camera faster.

This is beyond amazing. Like, wow. The style, the oppressive atmosphere, even the mechanics are a novelty, with the camera switching automatically, and you controlling only its speed or stopping the timer by lowering the monitor! It adds a level of restrictiveness that really shows how you can't take the mere act of checking the cameras for granted. And that jumpscare, damn. This might've been one of the times I've felt the most irked out by an animatronic design. It's realistic, it was meant to look cutesy for kids, but for adults, you just can't help but find it so off-putting, and it's awesome for that!
very interesting death screen. really shows the William Afton (or Henry?) of this universe is desensitized to cleaning up after animatronics time and time again and how they justify letting people disappear
Not a fan of lives systems but damn, everything else about this game has me hooked. Especially the. . .very descriptive death following after the jumpscare.💀
The game is built around the lives system, here it's actually utilized rather than being a counter that resets you back to Night 1 if you die enough times. Yes it DOES do that, but you can gain more lives throughout your playthrough and each night gives you an extra life upon beating it as well.
@@theresnosteak will it be somehow lore-accurate to have lives or it's purely gameplay thing? I could've explained them by some ghost actually helping us and reseting the time or mb ressurecting Mike bc he knows we're here to free them unlike others who are like animals, etc
That honestly is a visceral jumpscare, I never wanna play this but in a good way because it honestly looks terrifying. I love how there isn’t just some slow death screen, it’s all in ur face, brutal and distorted. The screeching sound is also very scary. Overall seems awesome, will try the demo for sure.
Holy shit this looks good, this might the first FNAF fan game or even game in general with FNAF tied to it to actually genuinely creep me out because god DAMN the location looks so desolate and the animatronics have pretty realistic designs and holy crap that game over screen is brutal with the implications of what the animatronic do to you!

Wow, that looks awesome! I really liked the style of the building and the color scheme. I would make the cameras darker and with a lower contrast, but that is just my style on FNaF. It would decrease the visibility and make the game scarier, but cameras with a clear vision are kinda classic, too.
i don't think i've seen a fan game change cursor status since fnaw also cameras switching automatically on a timer is pretty interesting that game over text too. damn.

That Jumpscare was creepy holy hell, and the gameover screen has some analog horror type, the Ambien's silent is so loud as well like something is about to pop out of nowhere, hope to see the full game!

YAP ATTACK WARNING I think the person behind the text is Henry (or Henry equivalent) mainly because of him saying "-this madness I've created" the way it's used here makes it feels similar to the pizzeria sim asylum ending monologue. I think you play as the killer's son in this game, which probably isn't much of a surprise. The text says "They really went wild on you" that leads me to believe it isn't something that happens often or maybe even at all, the animatronics still kill employees, just not mangling them like mike. I know the text says "I guess that's what happens when rabid dogs aren't fed." n' all but think that might be a red herring. I still believe the father-son resemblance with william is why they destroy mike
I absolutely love how silent the game is compared to other fan games. The lack of ambience really brings out the shock of the jumpscare and makes it that much more effective. Amazing game design.
