So glad the dental visit went well. Hope you heal up okish😉 and have splendid hiking with no drama only comedy ahead. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
I hope the tooth issue is fixed right and permanently. Taters - There are 9 tick diseases in CT. Lyme is the weak cousin of anaplasmosis. I've had both and anaplasmosis killed my wife. Anaplasmosis hits much harder and faster than Lyme. Once the headaches start with anaplasmosis it only takes 3 to 4 days before you are absolutely miserable. The extra treating was a good idea because sunlight and sweat damages the Permethrin. Don't inhale nor get Permethrin on your skin. I was very careful, wore a hasmat setup when treating with 3 of the big bottles. I ended up with a headache. I don't know how it happened but, I blame the Permethrin. Good Luck, Rick
I swear, do you have a long lost brother? We have the same foot issues, with the same giant wide feet, now you are dealing with the same sinus pressing on tooth root issues that I had back in March.
There seems to be a correlation between your foot issues worsening and Jen's arrival on trail (I think I've watched all of your thrus). Could you be changing your gait ever so slightly until you two get back into rhythm? Love you both, looking forward to the rest of your hike.
A MUCH needed zero for all the issues! Feet hurting is a problem, but really hope the teeth/sinus issue resolves itself because teeth hurting is NO fun! (I was stuck in Bosnia in 97 with a painful tooth issue that made life, already somewhat miserable, truly awful! So I know how you feel Matt.) Hike on refreshed! Tortoise
Mosquitoes would have been the less of your issues if you would have been paddling this year. This year, flooding and little to no sandbars. Enjoying the videos, keep them coming.
Yea, I’ve been following along the Facebook group and seeing some of what is going on. Shame for the folks having to skip the top lock, that was one of the big iconic bits for us
When I looked into the Disney rash thing before I didn’t find anything. I had somebody tell me that cornstarch can help, but I have nothing to back up. Best thing for us has always been getting an air conditioner.
@@FirstChurchofTheMasochistHikes ok will give it whirl. Thanks! Others have great luck w/A&D. Skins a pest. I came across a sinus tip. If you put lil iodine w/ fresh water use like a nose spray it supposedly staves off issues. I'll be definitely trying this! Happy trailing to you both !
There is I believe its 'tincture of benzoin' will make any bandage stick almost forever to any skin. Used to use that to make underfoot bandages stick.
As a physician, we use tincture of benzoin frequently to help with adherence of bandages. You might be able to find it at a pharmacy. No prescription needed. You don’t need much so you can just swab it on or lightly spray it. You might be able to find some packaged swabs, but most likely spray. Good luck!
Oh my
Good thing you have each other

Hey Y'all. Heal up all you can in a day Matt! And Taters, you cook where you wanna!

It is nice that you got a zero day, I hope you are feeling better. Good for Jen helping out, she's a lifesaver. Best wishes to both of you.
Thanks, rest up taters and Matt. 👊🏼✌🏻
Yay, Walter!!! 👼
I once had a really nasty sinus/ear infection that expressed itself as a toothache. Hope the antibiotics clear it up!

I received y’all’s card yesterday. Thanks. It was much appreciated!
Sinuses can definitely mimic tooth problems. Here’s to hoping that is truly the issue and the antibiotics do the trick! 🤞

Nice teamwork!
I have the same issue with my sinuses affecting my teeth. It's a thing!
Love.

How do they have bananas growing in Illinois?
Day 77. Chips and salsa lunch watch. The Bishop is wise. Fake dental issue, get a days rest. Wise
It is hard to outrun horseflies. I recall portaging a canoe on my head and shoulders at 5 mph.
😎✌

I occasionally have the same thing happen when I have sinus issues. I feel like one of my teeth is bothering me. So this isn't uncommon.
Do foot stretches and use a foot rollerball
Oofos help also(recovery sandals)

I’ve actually been intending to try that at some point. I just never have access to it when the issue is going on

A wipe down with hand sanitizer is almost as good as
At 5:26, your legs look so red compared to your arms. Weird. I hope you have easier days ahead
Dude, you need to switch out to a mesh base layer.
Hope your toothache goes away quickly.
