GHPC will blend game and simulation in just the right amounts, providing awesome fire control and ballistics simulation behind deceptively simple controls. This core feature set serves as the foundation for a rich single player campaign mode, skirmish missions, and (eventually) cooperative multiplayer modes: a satisfying option for every taste. And let's not forget about infantry and support units - tanks weren't built to fight alone. AI-controlled combined arms forces will round out the tactical environment and let armored units shine the way they were meant to.

It amazes me, how well rounded you are, regarding your tactics. Whether it is Naval warfare, Submarine Warfare, Air Warfare, or my personal favorite, Ground, and Armored Warfare.

I think the Swedes were actually the first to put a turbine engine in a tank, the Strv 103.
I don't know who "Everyone" is, but the vast majority of NATO tankers know that the T-80 has a turbine engine. They also know that, just like the T-72, the T-80 is an "easy opening" tank once the armor package is penetrated.

nice work and gameplay you handled this mission quite well not going to will fast and getting surprised by the m60s but not to slow to where you loses all of your BMPs.
1:43 the FCS is what makes the T-80B special compared to the T-72 or T-64A the 1G42 itself is not super diffrent compared to other soviet gun sights
and the gun sight is more like the M1A2 being duel-axis stabilized rather then the M1A1 wacth is single axis-stabilized like the M1 and M1IP

What are you talking about? He literally did lose all of the BMPs (although I don't think he could have done much about it, probably just AI being dumb).

I can’t remember if he is, but if he added infantry and trenches it would make this game a lot more realistic and enjoyable. It would feel like a war front and either funnel you through choke points or you’d have to face close combat with them. Could be cool

Is there any way to direct other units or assets via the map interface? This is a capability that was in M1 Tank Platoon II that is sorely missed in GHPC. You can’t really employ tactics effectively without a map-and-orders interface.
Check steel beasts: You can easily control batallion size units down to single stations in individual vehicles, with all combined arms simulated. Price tag is hefty, but this is what out army use for low cost training

I don't know if I'm the only one, but I kind of want them to add the M551 Sheridan. I say this as someone who isn't even really a big fan of the Sheridan, I just think it looks kind of neat, and would also be neat to see in GHPC.
it may be an out of theater vehicle, as far as I can tell it was replaced by the Bradley by 1985 but it could be a reserve tank
@@harveyknguyen while you are probably correct, the Sheridan was still being used into the early 90's. Also they had just added the gun launched ATGM capability to the Soviet MBTs. As well as being just overall pretty cool to have.
@@malekiththewitchking2799 the only reason i say that is because only vehicles that were in Fulda in 1985 or can reasonably assumed to be in reserve are being added to the game
ik the 11th ACR fielded them, but by '85 they may have switched over to the Bradley as their light armor
if it doesn't get added, it'll be for the same reason the Challenger 1, T-72B, and T-80BV aren't being added: they weren't in the Fulda Gap in 1985

you need to use soviet tactics: charge full speed ahead, dam the casualties lol
Then you're not following Soviet doctrine and will you achieve Is losing all of you equipment for nothing
Clearly you're only knowledge of Soviet doctrine comes from enemy at the gates I.G nothing
You can't expect to take no losses but you want to mitigate them

I gotta wonder what made those m60s so inaccurate. They had plenty of time to line up and score hits but they just sprayed like they were holding a pistol sideways for some reason.
Video game reasons. Probably something similar to bioshock where the first ranged attack will always miss?
Even in that state the devs get complaints about "ai aimbot" pretty often. It would be cool to see a difficulty where the ai can fire with better accuracy like an experienced player.
