Yo, how similar is the setup/compatibility for the ‘03 heritage soft tail? I’d like to have an fxrt fairing with Kraus type handlebars. Would I need to swap triple tree to install gsxr1000 forks?
My 03' FXD was the same way, minty on the outside but needed a blow torch and 3 sticks of dynamite to remove all the seized sleeves and bolts top to bottom. Would be sick to see that front converted to dual disk but either way can't wait to see how that internal front brake line turns out brother

looks great ! , I have the Roadking Version .. with all the $$$ in cams, comp release heads , and 103 stroker kit w baker +1 .. original owner was in HD management locally so it was ordered or turned into cvo/SE before they were everywhere .. one of the first hotrod Tuned FI bikes I ever saw , so when it came up for sale .. had to have it... thinking of putting a roadglide fairing on it..

Good build , dont know if youve ever used them but Harley sells extended turn signal switches , makes a huge differance i put them on my 05 FXDC and big improvement , im also in Canada , and ya , we do smoke , and not just cigarettes ...

Is there something locking the shifter shaft tube in place from back side? Whats the open ended wrench thing that clips to bracket? Im having similiar issue on my fxr3?! LOL

Does the cowl, fairing reduce wind or just for looks? I've been looking at those for my 04fxdl the wind is brutal at75+, feels like gonna blow off the back
