I just got a Hohem and, from the moment it sparks up it kinda freaks me out... it's like it's alive and has a mind of its own, because I struggle to control where it wants to look, LOL! I should go look see if you've got any more tutorials like these about basic gimbal movement.
Im glad you like it. It truly irritated me I almost through it through the wall. I got the extra tech supoort etc. But to my surprise how or why does this not balance itself like the dji first gimbal did?
is the gimbal seen because it's in zoom out mode? Is x1 on the iphone 14 just normal view? I've had my iphone 14 for a week and trying to work this out.

Hi, I recently purchased the same gimbal, and though I did my best to perfectly balance it, when I turn it on, the smartphone is slightly tilting to the left, just a tiny amount, but it's visible. I can see the same thing in your video, both when you walk through the red angelic gateway and in your studio at 6:42. Other videos I watched show the same issue. Do you think it is a fault in the project? Thanks!
Hello Josh (Off topic) - relating to your video covering the Zhiyun Crane 3S shots, being used to video your friend at the side of the stream . . . You had an extension pole attached to the gimbal, which had two handles fastened along two parts of the pole, one which had the swivel handle attachment, which you could hold and carefully guide / glide to obtain that smooth tracking shot . . . Josh - can you tell me the name of that extension pole (or monopod), which had those handles attached - as I would like to have one - I currently use a carbon fibre 180 Ifootage monopod on my Zhiyun gimbals - but I like the handles on the pole - many thanks Alan, London, UK

Keep in mind the 14 pro has incredible stabilisation. Other phones won’t be as smooth.
After adding that slight tilt to get rid of the motor in the ultrawide frame, now how do we keep that tilt if we're trying to get a static timelapse using the ultrawide lens? you know gimbals have to stand on their tripods when doing timelapses right?
Secondly, they provided inbuilt batteries to top off phones on the fly but, then they design the motor to block where most phone's charging ports are placed, I mean really?
This design is a failed design and everybody keeps giving it a pass because of its price & it's just beyond me.
