Well she DID try to kill Cid with poison that could kill dragons so she could dissect his brain, however it didnt work and Shadow just said it was a bit bitter.
She tried aphrodisiacs first, so she still fits in with the others. When that didn't work she tried poison too see if anything worked and kept upping the dosage.
