Macy's Building Demolition

Demolition work started on the old Macy’s Building located near the Town Center Mall in downtown Charleston, WV on April 25, 2024. The building is being taken down to make way for a brand new multi-million dollar sports facility, the Capital Sports Complex. The new complex will include several basketball and volleyball courts, a 30,000-square-foot gym, an indoor track and more.
