Amazing video! Great natural looking light. Almost make me think: Did you really use the light with all the close-ups from the mantas and dolphins? Always really hard with underwater videos if to use surtain techniques yes or not. Natural light always the best and videolight can screw up footage that has enough natural light. All your shots look great👌🏻

Im gonna dive there this April with the nautilus explorer socorro island with few of my photographers friends this amazing video make be thinking how to fast-forward the days faster and how many more memorie card for my camera I need to buy.

How did you handle the situation when Florian had to take the octopus?? Did you ascend together? It was only mentioned so shortly....
I don't think a single breath of compressed air at depth would cause the amount of N2 saturation that would require a slow ascent.
@@christopherblack1753 but breathing in compressed air at depth would still cause the lungs to expend while surfacing if he doesn't breathe out the whole way up as the air will expand in his lungs during the ascend
@@hanneseinberger6862 This is totally true. Pulmonary Barotrauma is a risk, but with zero N2 loading he could do 20m CESA without risk of DCI, which it sounded like he probably did, considering his comments about trying to get out of the water.
