    Those are some fancy oreos! I would call them Flower Oreos....not necessarily chocolate covered-focus. The flower seem like the focus here, since they are a work of art!

      hey jenlovesjobros, copha / coconut oil set hard at room temp whereas crisco is soft and easily spreadable. it can still be used but the chocolate won't be as crisp / hard set.

How can i turn the dust into liquids. With alcohol or cacao butter ? And what the ratio should be like? Can you please give me a recipe for that ?

    • @Rosiesdessertspot
      @Rosiesdessertspot  Před 8 lety

      hi +aysegul balan, I would use some vodka. In terms of recipe, I would add in a few drops at a time until I reach the consistency that I like :) I would aim for a thin paste, but nothing too watery.

      Hi +Dacia Hernandez, does this happen even after the chocolate has sat in the fridge for half an hour? If you, you could always rub just a little vegetable shortening around the mould to help it not to stick.

      Hi +Amy P , the only moulds I could find are located in the US unfortunately. Here is one buyer who seems to ship to Australia: www.etsy.com/au/listing/208077261/plain-oreo-chocolate-mold?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=oreo%20mold&ref=sr_gallery_25 (still a little cheaper than the rest in terms of shipping costs, but might be a little expensive all the same. Best I could find so far!)

    • @Rosiesdessertspot
      @Rosiesdessertspot  Před 8 lety

      Hi +kay thi, if you add in gel food colour to melted chocolate without coconut oil then the chocolate will likely begin to harden and become grainy and unworkable. But if you don't want to add in coconut chocolate, you could always just use either powdered colour or oil based colours and nothing will happen to your chocolate :)
