I am pursuing bsc radiology degree from PGIMER Chandigarh. This field is very interesting and one thing I want to correct is that after doing it ur designation is going to be a radiographer not radiologist. Radiologist are the doctors who have done mbbs and MD in radiology and they report the scans done by the radiographers. Our job is to do the ct, xray, mri and assist in interventional radiological procedures. 😊
What is the starting salary??
@@bindujha8690 In government hospitals it starts from 40-50k for a xray tech to 80-90k for a mri or ct tech. In private setups it depends upon the modality like in mri u can earn more and in xray it would be less.
What is the fees for your college? For radiology
@@AdnanKhann__ since its a central government institute so the fee is very less like 500 per sem. In private institutes it's in lacs.

Sir This is probably the first video you hav ever uploaded that is filled with misinformation! No one can become a radiologist without neet because the definition of a radiologist is someone who has done mbbs and then MD or some kind of diploma in radiology! My father has been working as a radiographer all his life and neither him nor anyone he has ever worked with has ever gotten promoted to radiologist because the people called radiologist in any hospital always atleast have mbbs... The only promotion possible is to become incharge of the department, which he is now. Guys do your research and don't spoil your future through this non sense!

Bsc radiography and imaging technology is good or not
So , it also depends on the university that you are choosing for yourself that you can get a good package of placement . I have done my graduation from Quantum university and indeed it is a very good university to take admission it is situated in roorkee Uttarakhand . After completing my 12th class i was also confused about the college but trust me this college is worth the penny . very afordable fees with good quality of education in it .
