As the video ended I realised my food should have been finished in the toaster by now and panicked, thinking I either forgot it and would be the wrong temperature or that it was on for too long. I then realised I was already eating the food, with a bit in my hand as I chewed.

Abby, there's another glitch where you can go under the water: you walk REALLY slowly along the edge of the water. It sometimes bounces you up into the sky, which is really fun! In fact, I tried it in the gorge once, and I was bounced up so high that I saw the entire map!
I have tried and done this glitch before!! So fun!

Once I was in an rp and my oc was hunting with her mentor (RiverClan cats) and (she dove suddenly, grabbing onto a fish.)
I walked towards the water and forgot I was in crouch, effectively causing this glitch to happen, which actually worked for the rp XD

I don't really rp anymore, I kinda just lurk and explore alone lol but I remember back when people didn't ask permission or plan out rps, stuff just happened with people you ran into at random and it would just form its own unique storyline. It felt more fun and immersive that way honestly

I usually set up the basic plot like if a cat left to go to thunder clan and their kitty pet friend stayed at the house and then it goes from there, usually unplanned up to very end of the rp

About the permission thing, I think I’ve tried the “older” way by accident. Now that you bring it up, I definitely like the old way better since it doesn’t interrupt the RP as much. I just don’t know if people are used to it now, so if I leave my battle RP messages open-ended they might assume I’m going in without “perms”. Perhaps I’ll tell them beforehand? Anyway, it was a good thing for me to think about so I can improve my RPs! To anybody reading my comment: Let’s bring the old way back, shall we?
Also, this video has convinced me to do the water glitch because it is freaking hilarious. 🤣

I.. don't really like the idea. I prefer the way with perms so that everyone enjoys the RP, and theres no more excitement in being attacked without perm than vice versa. But uh..
@@birdie3206 Some people make you ask for permission for the slightest thing: a clawless hit to the head for yelling at a kit, or dragging a rogue off a clan apprentice.
Numerous times I've been denied permission to attack or drag rogues off clan members, which is really stupid. I shouldn't have to ask for permission to attack a hostile rogue who is in the clan territory and attacking a clan member.
I see and feel no enjoyment in having to ask permission to do minor things. Just destroys the excitement and fun of a surprise. Especially since people constantly meta rp. They know your about to attack them when you have to ask them for permission to tackle them off another cat, and so they usually prepare a dodge or counter attack, therefore making your attempts useless.
It only makes sense to ask for permissions when it comes to severely injurying or killing another person's oc, but not when its something minor.

Now. With the permission thing. I mostly forget to do it, but I want to do it. I feel it prevents people from power playing, and if they still powerplay, then I ignore them. My permissions are usually anything BUT ripping my tail off, blinding me, ripping off my ears, and killing me (unless I say it's okay). If someone, let's say...blinded me right away and then ripped my tail off then killed me in 3 seconds, I'd call that powerplaying. In the actual books (which I think most people who play Warrior Cats: Ultimate Edition don't know it's based off a book series), you never see a cat killing someone in 2 seconds. NO WAY! They have to sneakily pounce on them, pin them down to the ground, probably scar them a few times, and THEN they bite their neck, but even in that amount of time it takes for that to happen, the enemy could've escaped. Although, people can think whatever they wanna think. If you don't really like doing the permissions before striking or if you like doing permissions, that's fine. This is just my opinion.

I feel this so much, and whole heartedly agree.
The only reason I can not always do the second way, is due to the fact I roleplay over discord 80% of the time and asking is better. Buttttt. Sometimes I have been able to do it, and I by far prefer it.

3:30 - This is still a very common way of approaching roleplay fighting, I see it most in literate styled roleplays (i.e a discord roleplay server or something along those lines), I'll be honest, I didn't even realize the asking permission for every action approach was a thing until seeing it with WCUE fairly recently

Neat video! I’ve always had an interesting view on Warriors considering foxes don’t eat cats. It’s interesting how they chose foxes as minor antagonists and not coyotes (as they actually do eat cats, unlike foxes)
Foxes are opportunistic hunters if they happen upon a kitten or an old senior cat they could and probably would kill and eat them. also when cub season comes around female foxes with kits will fight and challenge nigh near everything especially cats. so I think foxes are a great minor antagonist. they are a rare danger and are not worried about that much unlike twolegs and dogs.
coyotes would be interesting but a more major threat. maybe in the place this all is based in coyotes don't naturally live there?
Actually, female foxes do not fight and challenge random animals. However, they do chase them away. This is not an aggressive attack, more of a threatening display. If faced with a cat, the female will chase the cat away, but will not attack it.
I can affirm that foxes WILL eat small kittens as they are opportunistic hunters and traditionally eat small mammals. HOWEVER, grown cats? The answer is no. They do not eat grown cats. When they do get into a fight in the wild, the fox will almost always back down, nearly every time, even though they have the upper hand in brute strength. In the wild, it is more important to prevent injury than to win a fight and make a kill. Foxes are terrified of cats. Many supposed “fox attacks” are actually coyotes, as they look similar (though they are much larger). Coyotes DO kill and eat cats and small dogs.
This being said, foxes have killed adult cats in the past. What many do not understand is that this is EXCEEDINGLY rare. The victims of these 1/100 fox attacks are (typically speaking) elderly, sick, or young individuals with some sort of a disadvantage (again, foxes are opportunistic hunters).
The only time I have witnessed a cat back down in a fight with a fox was with a 2 year old male against a 6 month old arctic fox. PLEASE NOTE: this was a PLAY fight, the arctic fox and the cat had been raised together. In the wild, typically speaking, cats will stand their ground against the likes of a skittish fox, and the fox will run when faced with an animal their size. No fox in its right mind would pit itself up against a cat, even when desperate (this excludes rabid foxes. They are clearly not in their right mind and will attack anything).
Many witnesses claim that a fox was ‘attacking’ a cat because it was chasing one. Foxes DO chase cats, especially away from den sites, or simply off of territory (like with the female foxes you were referring to). This may result in a fight if they cat decides to fight back, though as I have explained, the fox will (many more times than not, THOUGH NOT ALWAYS) back down first. This will happen more frequently during mating season, although it is not the fox hunting or attempting to kill a cat. It is simply chasing it away. Warriors claims that foxes actively seek to hunt and eat cats, when this is not the case at all.
I must say that I am not very educated on the behavioral differences between a wild fox and an urban fox with regards to cats, as I’ve seen proof for wild foxes being both more skittish and urban foxes being more bold, and yet urban foxes being weaker and running from fights while wild foxes being stronger and more devoted to a fight when provoked (emphasis on provoked). Depending on where you are located, it MAY vary. As I said, i cannot clearly distinguish differences (though the differences are MINOR).
To sum it all up, no, foxes do not seek out cats to eat them, even if they are injured or elderly. Can they when desperate? They can, but they VERY rarely ever do. No, when faced with a cat, the fox will not see it as prey (as competition? Yes. Not prey). When fighting, the cat almost always wins (unless it is sick, elderly, or injured, then the fox obviously has the upper hand and will win the fight and likely kill the cat in the process). Yes, a fox WILL eat a small kitten, as will every other larger meat-eater. It has happened time and time again, as foxes naturally eat small mammals. Yes, foxes will chase cats away from den sites. No, cats do not even make up a percentage in a fox’s diet. Not even a tiny bit.
In general, no. Foxes do NOT eat cats. (Sorry I’ve been researching foxes for 6 years and have been met with “well Warriors says that they do eat cats so hah”, and feel strongly on this topic lol)
Coyotes would be a better threat as they actively seek to eat cats, unlike foxes. And yes, they are found in the UK

@Red Hybrid you have no idea how refreshing it is to hear that. Foxes are also my favorite animal, and I am quite passionate about the species. I guess Warriors has left a bad taste in my mouth due to kids believing that their cat was eaten by a “huge fox”, when in reality it was just a coyote, and then trying to tell me how much they dislike foxes for the death of good ol’ Fluffy. It’s nice to know that other people love the species and understand their behavior. I’ve actually been raising that arctic fox that I mentioned (his name is Poet) and have learned that the species is a lot neater and more fascinating than what meets the eye. Aaaand high maintenance. But still.
last rp i played as a fox, i was an apprentice sized fox in a band of travelers, who was being hunted down. gosh, it was so fun!
