Had the Element for 4yrs. Got it re-leathered for free under warranty since older design had issues with rivet ruining chips on credit cards. They back the 65 yr warranty for sure. I have the Ascent and Contour as well now.
Good to know, thanks!
Like the review you should make some more if you have something to share.
Nice review. I can see how a leather cord would look nice.... but that thin, it would wear out quick. With that warranty they'd be losing money paying shipping for a little piece of leather continuously. Would that (the switch to paracord) have been enough to turn you off from buying it at the Kickstarter stage?
Howdy, thx for your comments! If you see the Kickstarter pics it was a hefty piece of leather. I'm sure it would have worn out eventually but it would have taken a very long time. I suspect it was a difficult piece to make vs a cord. My gripe was also the lack of any communication about the change, lack of offering any options (not even a color choice!?) and the quality of the zipper and tab. I don't regret the purchase, I regret their choice of closure not being very heirloomy 😄
@@viddytoad Got ya. Yeah, when you said the zipper was not the best, I was a bit surprised. How much more could a good zipper be. I'll probably be getting the Element so different style but I really liked the look of this zipper wallet.

Pricing is under 50. and with the 65 year warranty I’m not complaining…holds all I need in a slim form factor.
good looking wallet. Too bad is not double stitched
Thank for your review, sadly not made from the top grain leather... their
I don't know, I'm not a leather expert by any means, but it seems like top grain to me. Anyway, I still use mine daily and although it is now even more weathered looking (I like the patina) it is still holding up great, no problems so far.
