I love the politics and scheming that goes on in this arc, it all feels so complicated and smart
I don't know how common an opinion this is, but Pariston is actually my favorite character from the series, I think. Of course, the scene which explains why hasn't happened yet here, but it's coming up and I can't wait. For a guy who got 10 episodes out of 140, I think he might be the character who made me like him the fastest out of all the characters in all the anime I've watched. Of course, all the HxH characters are fire as hell.
He's one of my favorites as well!!! He's just brilliant, I love him.

I swear pariston is an interesting character because just like ging said in this ep but; he doesn't want to win but he also doesn't want to lose either, he just wants to have fun. He just knows what to say to keep people thinking, I actually want to see more characters like him in different animes

He said the requirements to be the chairman are combat ability, experience and caliber... "Leorio lacks experience" so his potential in fighting ability is ok and he doesn't lack caliber (that's for sure^^)
Cheadle got experience and caliber it seems, even tho she lacks in the combat skills department ...no wonder he chose her at the end and respected Mizaistom's wishes (omg!! is Pariston a good guy after all?😲🤪)
Mizaistom is such a cool guy. He has everything even tho he maybe doesn't stand out too much despite his achievements (aiming for Triple-Star!) so he's definitely ambitious but knows how to wait for his time to shine and to achieve a greater goal...respect!

Cheadle too...I think she's wrong about Ging's intention when he didn't dodge Leorio's attack (manga readers know) but I think she's probably half right as well
I like the characters seeing things from their own subjective and flawed perspective...will they be honest? will they twist the truth to fit their own plans? will they keep silent? will they lie for no reason? .... from that you can have a deeper understanding of their true nature...

Ging sees him as a rival, maybe not power-wise, but Ging knows that a Nen fight isn't all about power, so I guess so.
I like the relationship Ging has with most hunters around him : they think he's annoying as hell but can't deny his skills, so I don't think they really hate him, like to the point of wanting him dead, they just can't handle him and his unpredictable behavior and would like to punch him at least once..that's why Leorio became an icon...🤣🤣🤣🤣 I love that ^^

I can believe how all this people take paritson for face value, like you don't even know anything about him but you're already thinking that he is evil because of his personality and the aura coming out.
Like seriously are all of you people naive or is this first time watching anime and stumbling on character like this, its so obvious that author intentionally make him look like shady characters with other motives but that just to fool everyone that he is like this and people really buy that!
Honestly paritson is my favourite, and i knew there was mote to his behaviour than what we are seeing.
If anything i can't handle chealde she is the one who is freaking annoying, i just wish she would stop talking with her irritating attitude.
4:25 love to see how everyone Gon and Killua met on the way are there to support them even the hunters who should be at the election hall...I bet it would be the same if it was Ging...they're not always good or fair to their friends but the friends know their nature and support them nonetheless bc they got so many things from them even in a single encounter

No there’s lot of people that are weird looking in HxH, like that bear guy in Kite’s research team. Plus she’s been around for years before the whole Chimera Ant incident anyway it’s not possible for her to be a Chimera Ant

I wouldn't say useless. In the end, she is really smart and would be most fit to help the country out, especially in the medical department.
From Ging's POV she's quite predictable but she handles situations calmly and is smart and humble enough to seek advice bc she knows Ging can offer her an out of the box perspective and solution
Pariston ultimately chose her to be the chairman for a good reason...he's not aiming for the destruction of the HA and he knows she can do a good job
I trust their judgement
