- Thermal really is THE way to get the best results. Having shot many foxes over many years. I can honestly say that since using thermal I get loads more. I see further and can track them across our vast open landscape.
The Stellar scope from HIK is without a doubt the best scope I’ve used to date. The combination of ease of use with quality and battery life make it a serious tool for the job.
HIK have recently reduced the price of the Stellar SQ50 to less than £3K.

The best electric fox call on the market is the icotec GC500 from best fox call :bestfoxcall.co.uk/product/gen...

"Opened him up a treat!" Brilliant! 😂
Like a tin of peas.
What a game changer these Thermal sights are indeed!
Good many grouse saved because of these outings of yours Robin, well done!
Hi Reg,
Thanks for watching and commenting
Your a lucky lad getting to play with all that kit, great video mate, it’s what my life has been missing 👍
Great job like always
Thanks mate.
That is some great video from the spotter and the scope, as well as some great shooting. Cheers from Texas.
Thanks David. I’d love to come to Texas and shoot some wild hogs.
Hog shooting is a lot of fun. It used to be free, but now the land owners have figured out that they can charge people. Even though the hogs devastate lots of land and crops, people still want to charge to let hunters shoot them.
Great compilation there Robin. 👌
Thank you kind sir.
Nice one sir . Great watch as usual.
Thank you my good man. I enjoyed your feral pigeon expedition very much. Looked liked great fun.
Excellent work ad always 👏
I'm back into them here now as daylight savings has ended and there's plenty around 👍
Thanks for watch and the very best of luck with your ventures.
great shot robin 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks Simon.
Very informative. Thanks!
Thanks for watching.
Iv'e used IR for a few years (Pard) the amount of scanning needed is insane, changed to thermal 6 months ago - game changer no more endless scanning
hit ratio has gone to 100%, no time wasted - thermal gives you more work. I have the Lc06 ...yeah it's budget ..but it's only for rats.
The latest firmware update gives you picture in picture on Hik (LCO6) nice update for free.
Great video bud, very informative.👍
Thanks for your comment.
Really nice work on the red skins lads , yeah sometimes they need a follow up shot 🦊👍👍
Nice video, good work. It nice to see a HIKMICRO with the reticle in the centre! I have an Alpex and it looks terrible off to the side especially with Picture in Picture. Hopefully they’ll sort the centring with the next firmware update.
This depends on how each rifles barrel lines up with the top mount. As there independent often there can be a small “off to the side” issue. Mine just so happens to be pretty bang on.
Great video
Thanks Michael.
Nicely done.
Thanks Eoin for taking the time to watch and comment.
@@TeamFoxer love the hik products Robin, nearly bought the alpex but as good as it is I still like dialling my turrets to distance. Great videos and always good to see what you get up to
Nice shooting chap 👍
Thanks Nigel.
Nice Robin nice
Thanks Chris.
Always good to catch up with what you guys are doing. Thermal is a total game changer. It was good to chat with you at the British shooting show. Any news on the head to head match ?
Hiya Paul, very likely to be towards the end of this year as I’ve had a fairly big changes of jobs. I’m now farming and am very busy throughout spring into summer. But we will make it happen. 🦊👍🏼
Great footage from both the hik units and great shooting. How do you keep the recoded volume on the Stella down, mine is so sensitive and picks up everything
Hey alway like the guys videos.
Thanks Jay
Nice shooting and video, my xq38 has no lrf nor the drone 10 but knowing my ground very well and over time you get to know the distances. Like I said to my mate why did you not take on that pigeon..it was too far..lol
Your right there. Once you’ve used the kit a while you get to know.
How happy are you with the thumbhole stock...do you find it gives you much better trigger control?
Woukd you go back to a normal sporter stock?
It’s great. Not having the biggest hands in the world. It offers me more control, firming grip and better more natural trigger reach.
How can people in the US get the fox mating call for our ecallers?
The fox with the scar looks like it has received surgery so might be rescued and released?
How did your zero check go?
It was 2” left and a little high. I’d moved on to a new batch of ammo. After a minor adjustment we’re back in business. 🦊👍🏼
@@TeamFoxer horrible feeling being off zero...I managed 14 foxes one night...hitting bout 6 inch high and 3 to the right
🤷
I resorted to shooting very central on sitting fox...thus hitting in chest.
Not sure how I lost zero exactly...maybe setting up a 300 yard profile..
But...was relieved to find it was out of zero...and not entirely my shooting..
Messy shooting 😢they deserve better dispatch
Probably best you get back on the range with that .223 some very badly placed shots there. All animals deserve and instantaneous dispatch, especially Charlie.
I kept them in to show (and if you were listening) mentioning the fact I checked zero afterwards. A new batch of ammo was the reason behind it. I shoot lots of foxes 99% of the time they drop on the spot.
@@TeamFoxer yes I watched it all and I was listening. Check zero before you point a rifle at living things. Especially when you change ammo. I would of thought someone with your vast expertise would know that.
It’s just more fuel for the fire of the antis.
@@buckrussel3808 you’re dead right. I should know better. I didn’t realise I’d swap batches. I normally segregate them in my cabinet to avoid it. One miss or bad shot you can put down to pulling the shot etc. it was only after the 2nd one ran I looked at the box of ammo for a reason. Thanks for watching all the same. 👍🏼🦊
