Paul Thorn speaks in humor, and ballad, in different styles of music. He is a troubadour of this modern age. He deserves much recognition. He also deserves moon pies. I hear he likes them. So recognition and moon pies to Paul Thorn!
The man stirs up memories of the 40+ years that got by me! What a Gem of an entertainer and Master songwriter. Like many of the posts, I heard him on CZcams doing a song "I don't like half the folks I love", and I cannot stop listening to this guy.
The first time I heard Paul Thorn sing, I was instantly a fan. I enjoy every one of his videos and I watch them over and over again. I have to make myself stop watching after several hours because I won't get my work done otherwise. He makes me laugh and smile every time I watch him. He is the remedy when I have a bad day.

After hearing one of his songs on radio a couple days ago, I’ve probably listened to a hundred more, & must say I’m truly impressed at his vocals & songwriting, But just realized when he talks or jokes he reminds me of Mitch Hedberg, in the accent, as well as voice cadence, partly humor also .

I'm driving from Detroit to Minnesota currently I'm half way there due to the police hate crimes against the black man who got choked to death I'm bringing water and food for the protesters we are witnessing the largest riot in the country start to grow I will be playing your song out of the back of my van while I pass out water...I just sold my guitar to a man in detroit because i ran out of money in March so including my lawn mower I can't even cut my grass.... Thankfully my unemployment came through last Friday from unemployment so I was able to purchase a lawn mower but now I can travel to Minnesota protest with the other people..... But your songs I am going to play on the back of my minivan as I pass out food water
Paul has a show of his own, he’s been 6 rounds with Roberto Duran, he was a contender at that time. If I could remember the song I would put it hear. He tells about it on the start of the song. It’s pretty interesting
Joe Kelly I’m pretty familiar w Hedberg’s standup. I’m really familiar w/ Paul Thorn’s material. Which jokes is he stealing? Or is it because the cadence of their speech is similar.
Joe Kelly yeah...maybe. I just hate seeing someone say Paul Thorn is “stealing” something from another artist. He’s a genuine original that doesn’t need to “steal” material from anyone.
