MUSIC from Epidemic Sound - Krátké a kreslené filmy
Not only is the animation impressive and beautiful, the video you crafted to showcase the process is as elegant as the process itself.
Wonderful work
:0
Ayyyoooo the man himself
TELEPURTE🫢
Dang. Never imagined that I'd see you in another youtuber's comment section
Both of your art and animation is superb! 🥰
It’s been 1 year… I MISS YOUR USEFUL GUIDES AND EXPERTISE!!! WHERE HAVE YOU GONE!?! I MISS YOU AND I WANT TO LEARN MORE FROM YOU! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE?
I used to make lots of gifs in 2017-2019 and wanted to become an animator. I hope to get back the desire to become one one day again. Turning lines into characters or objects and then bringing them to life was such an amazing feeling every time! As always, great video! 🧡
U sure will, i used to be a gif maker, but I do motion graphic as a job now (with other delegates)
@@jellyfishbeans94 Good for you 😊 Thanks! I hope so, or at least I'll get back to gif making again. Time would pass surprisingly quickly every time I made a gif. It was always labor intensive, but fun! Motion graphics seems to be a similar activity.
@@Katiors motion graphic i used After effects and illustrator. Also i use a plugin for my characters like limber/bao bones. So they look very corporate like animations. Gif making would be fun though. Hopefully u pick it up again :)
@@jellyfishbeans94 oh, got it now 😊 Thank you! ☺️
You should return to do ! what to you Love! .in what ever capacity!👍
I have just started watching but I want to say congratulations for getting sponsored by Clip Studio! You really deserve it! You videos are always top quality and you are such an inspiration for artists and animators!
They got sponsored by CSP in the past too! In the first animation workflow video.
With the change to subscription mode of CSP they need as many sponsors as they can get lol
I will never stop being in awe of how smooth your animtions are. A work of art.
Your presentation style is simply perfect - it feels like you could elevate even the most boring subjects
Honest opinion, but I firmly believe that it's criminal that your channel hasn't amassed over a million subscribers. When I first discovered your channel, it was like finding a diamond mine in a sea of gold mines.
"Study those you admire"
Lemoncholy, you are one of them 🌾
Where are you😢😢😢😢
I can't articulate how much I appreciate these insights into your workflow. As an animator specialising in fast paced action and gritty folkloric imagery there is a blatant irony in my inherent preference for melancholic, subtle movement. This video gave me a pleasant insight into how I can rework my own workflow to elevate subtlety as well as revealing a potential appealing means of diversion for myself
Yes! more subtlety and melancholy! @Joseph Wisher do you explore those in any personal projects?
Please come back I love your work
I will never get used to how each of your animations bring a new element but still has your distinct and familiar style. it. is. so. DAMN. FINEEEE. Motivation is high right now, and i needed it for this first year in animation.
irs been a year mother 😢 i roly miss you
the animation is absolutely stunning, i love all the thoughts behind the piece. animation is a really time consuming process, more with colours added. i appreciate the hard work. i loved the colours and the overall simplicity of the flowers in the background. also, your voice is really beautiful.
my art teacher has a bunch of alphonse mucha's art in her classroom and I would stare at them a lot and they really did seem like something different. I love the softness of the images and the colors.
You could pause at any time during that animation and it would never not be a masterpiece.
It looks absolutely stunning! I love how you animated the hair and the flowers add so much to the piece. Your videos have so much care and detail put into it, it's always so fun and calming watching them.

LOVE how lemoncholy posts Amazing videos like 3-4 times a year and we eat it up like the hungry trolls living under their bed
by the luck and grace of the algorithm I found your channel and am so impressed...subscribed immediately.. you are an inspiration
wowowow this video was amazing! I loved how detailed you were with the editing, I noticed that at 8:19 you used the same diamond-ish shape for the letter "i" that the sword was which was very cool, your method of copy-pasting brushstrokes when movement isn't extreme was so smart! And it's very nice seeing you use a screen-less tablet, I used to think that I needed the most expensive cyntiq if I wanted to make good art, so this was a good reminder that it's the artist, not the materials that determines quality. also your voice is really relaxing.
Your videos themselves are works of art. The handwritten notes. The soft colors of the backgrounds. As a video editor myself I‘m absolutely in love with your style both in art and editing. You‘re making me fall in love with drawing again. ❤
This is probably going to get lost in the sea of comments, but I've recently discovered your channel at a moment in my life when I my passion in art was waning and I wasn't even sure why I was doing art in the first place. Your passion bleeds out from your incredibly well edited videos and that was enough to fill me with the determination to go on. Thank you!
Well. Now this officially is my favourite CZcams channel. That's all, thank you
Caps off y'all, cause we've been blessed by yet another banger of a video
as a beginner animator, making something like this seems intimidating, but you broke down the process so well!! and the finished product is beautiful- it's so smooth and lifelike, and the colors and style are so pretty :>
The amount of detail and attention you put into your videos is insane!! The editing, the music, colors, little icons - everything elevates whatever subject you are talking about, and makes your videos so unique! My UX professor would call your videos “being kind to the viewer”, because everything you do in this video - explaining the theories, showing examples just makes a simple tutorial such a pleasant to watch experience, but most importantly it’s so clear! I wish you could put out more videos, but with this much effort, I feel like it must take you a long time! And that’s why you are probably one of my favorite animation/illustration CZcamsrs out there, because even your videos are designed with such detail and care, which I feel like shows your attitude towards your work. And I find it super inspiring!
Ahhhh I used to make "animated illustrations" for my college portfolio when I was still going to art school. this makes me want to pick that back up again
Kudos from another Michelle
This one of those top genuine artist I've seen, the presentation of the video, the breakdown, music choice, visual animation choice, all in top quality, I'm still a mere mortal wondering in this earth and nowhere close to this human in terms of skill and creativity. Minblowing and Inspiring.
4:34 this was wierdly perfect i love your style of videos
you know what I really needed this. Seeing the final result helped me out a LOT today, I woke up grumpy as hell and fatigued. Watching this process and seeing the FInal - character outcome helped me wake up. That burst of wind on the characters face was a breath of fresh air.
Bruh, I just started watching this channel and I already love it.
I love finding smaller CZcamsrs like this 😊
Somehow you animated it exactly the way I thought it would look.
You're break-down of your artistic process never ceases to amaze me. It inspires me to pick up a pen again. Thank You.
Seeing someone animate in a non conventional art style is so inspiring and awesome. Your work is amazing.
This channel makes me want to enjoy the little things in life, go dancing alone in the woods and aspire to be a better artist all at the same time from just a 10 minute video
Your style is a spectacle in and of itself. Bravo.
100% this never stop studying other artwork. I was having a hard time painting a wave crashing for a personal painting, so it was off to the museum and Pinterest to sketch out and do artwork studies of those who had mastered the art of adding an ocean to canvas. Also you have a talent in teaching, breaking process down to a simple less scary format. Well done.
I'm always in awe of people who can draw, it's a skill I wish I possessed.
NEW LEMONCHOLY VIDEO OMFGJDJFJSI 😭😭❤
it is very intimidating but also when you get to a result outside of what you usually make it's very motivating as you see just what you can do (and more!)
You are on another level. I just drink in every single one of your videos; they're so beautifully crafted, so thoughtfully assembled and voiced over, and represent so many hours of work. Thank you for sharing your gifts with us!! You're one of my favorite CZcamsrs of all time!
This is by far my favorite youtube channel. Wonderfully crafted, with the most soothing voice I've ever heard, packed with valuable information presented in delightful aesthetics. Just, impeccable. Thanks for the amazing content always!
Heh, the day I start rewatching a channel's videos after a long time of now, the channel uploads!
NEW LEMONCHOLY UPLOAD
I never realized Mucha only shades around the face. That's fascinating! This whole video was very informative, thank you!
This was a very thoghrough video! Even though I don't respect CSP as much as I used to, it's incredible that your work is being recognised!
This is the most type A creative I’ve ever seen lol. Not an insult btw, just astounded by how insanely organized/curated her process + this channel is
If I could like this video 10 more times, I would in a heartbeat.
The end result is absolutely gorgeous and the process was easy to follow, relaxing to watch and helped me understand animation better.
Thank you for making this lovely video❤
Every frame is so aesthetic and beautiful
I remember just being in awe of this after seeing it on Instagram.
wow, lots of elements to control to animate that way, its very impressive work and it looks good with the hair blowing in the wind. impressive
this video is fukken sick and i learned a lot. you have a lot of very intelligent approaches to your work that i will be trying to incorporate into my own. i hope that you consider doing more instructional videos or similar, would love to learn more about your process!
As an animation major I found this really helpful
Your videos are so informative, aesthetic and just pure A R T ✨💖 Im ur new fan 😃
Yeeeyy I love to watch your processes! I LOVE Mucha's work and watching your thoughts while you studied his works gave me a lot of insights! The final animated work is flawless, thank you so much for sharing your works and process. Wish you all the best Michelle!
this is one of the best 9 minutes of my life
So amazing!! Love how cinematic your videos are!!!! And your style is just chefs kiss!!
Thanks so much. I don't have anything else to say other than that I have been looking for someone to explain it, just like you did here. I will always be deeply grateful to you.
Dear Michelle,
Every time your videos are released, I am overwhelmed with sublime and bright emotions, because of which I cannot write you a nice comment for a long time, but now I have gathered my strength.
From the bottom of my heart I want to thank you very much for creating videos, they are informative and aesthetic, your voice is very pleasant and sets you up for work. I watch your videos from time to time to get a boost of motivation and desire to live, because that's exactly how they turn out - inspiring and life-affirming.
I would like to one day do something as good and inspiring as you, because I want you to get a return for your work (after all, you can see with the naked eye that you put a lot of effort into creating your videos).
Once again, thank you so much for being you and for making videos, they really inspire a lot!❤️
You speak in such a soothing way. Thanks for sharing your process too! Such gorgeous work
oh my god, you dont understand how much this helped me, in inspiration and in work process. thank you so much I am gonna study every bit of this video
Everything you do blows my mind
Your voice, your coloring, your texture....It's perfect.

Your art style oH MY GOD-
your videos make me feel so happy and peaceful and they’re just so inspiring. please don’t ever stop doing what you love because we love you and your works so much :)
/gasp/ I think this is your shortest youtube hiatus...
OHMYGAWD I'M SO EXCITED FOR MORE
I'm beginning the journey of building a portfolio and applying for an animation program at my university and every time I come across one of your videos I feel so excited to learn how to create art like that. This was so great to watch and learn about your process.
Your videos are incredibly informative, inspirational and beautiful to watch. You add so much value to this platform and the art community generally
Out of all the animation tip/process videos I’ve seen in my life this has to be the most helpful I think. It’s similar to what I’ve been trying to do with my own animation and explained in a way and in greater detail that many others aren’t.
Thank you for this video- and your art is gorgeous 👁
This was amazing to watch! I love step by step process videos like these, and I’m amazed at how succinctly you broke down each step while keeping the overall video easy to understand and pleasing to the eye. Would love to see more of your art process broken down or speedpaints with commentary in the future!
absolutely beautiful
Your work is absolutely fantastic. Thank you for breaking down the creative decisions so thoroughly, and for being an inspiration
2 lemoncholy videos within 3 weeks
Your work inspires me every single time! I love hearing your thought process because it makes you understand how much work goes into a piece ✨💕
You are amazing, every time I see one of your videos I end up baffled. 👏🏼👏🏼
That was an incredible watch.
Clip Studio is really pounding hard on the advertising now that they're receiving so much backlash.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE ALPHONSE MUCHA'S ARTWORKS!!!
So I'm really really happy to see a video detailing your process of drawing and animating a art nouveau inspired piece!!
I ABSOLUTELY AM MESMERIZED ON THE END RESULT!!!
The way you deliver all of this information is gorgeous.
bruh ur art is so cool i'm gonna cry
to see someone else in the art community talking about Alphonse Mucha's work is lovely :)
This is the most inspirational and aesthetic video I've ever seen regarding animation woow
Oh my DAYS! That animation is absolutely breath-taking. What an immense gift you have as an artist.
I just can't get tired of seeing your videos. Sometimes I even repeat them several times to watch the art and also appreciate the video editing, it's just AWESOME! You have been an inspiration for my work, and your art has helped me in a lot of my college works, thank you so much!
ugh i am in love with your videos, the way you introduce your works and edit your videos create this whole big piece of art itself apart from your illustrations and animations iusehnfviuaernvg
OMG IM SO EXCITED TO WATCH THIS
I’m amazed by how much thought and skills can be shown in just a single video! Your work, the final outcome is fantastic!
But what’s more is all the work you put in design like typo layout editing, process and all useful insight, techniques explaining (very clever explanation!!).
Seeing that somebody (you) put so much thoughts, care and effort in their work really inspires and makes my day.
This was incredible! I formally studied animation in the 2000s, this brought so much back! I also love how beautifully presented and shot this video was. The lettering, the subtle piano, soft voice over, the cinematography, it was all so gently, rich and lovely. Much like the animation itself 💛🌙🌟✨
I'm obsessed w these hair shapes!!! ♡♡♡♡♡
Omg I love this aesthetic!!!!
Every video is breathtaking and gorgeous
This channel massively improves the quality of my life. I love your editing style- and even though I don’t know crap about animation, the way you show your progress really speaks to me.
This is the best process breakdown I've ever seen for a simple animation. Everything is so beautiful and calming.
Absolutely stunning. I love the depth of your knowledge and insight.
Rooting for u Michelle!! These videos are always so wonderful to watch
Just here to say I deeply love your channel. Not only your artwork is stunning, but even the video editing is so aesthetically pleasing (and very consisent). I´m always inspired by watching your content.
