MAN, DIS music has me thinking hard about Jamaica. I've never been there. But I can think about the place.
Jamaica is a melting pot of musical culture . My channel will showcase this culture musically and retroactively.. Do your travel research you'll be pleasantly surprised what this island has to offer.
This is the music to my youth - in London '60s and 70s and beyond. You know we still have old style, Sunday night dances for the "big people" here, all the ladies in their best dresses and men suited up and listening and dancing to the DJ play this music. It's still a scene! It was kind of a shock when I went to Jamaica recently to realise that things had (obviously) moved on over there!

Yes, takes me back to my skinhead days 30 years ago. Good and bad times mixed; way too many beers, bong hits and fights! But I still love this golden era of Jamaican music. Rocksteady and skinhead reggae were/are still the best!
I sit up tonight, writing a paper for school. With the music in my ear, sometimes I stop get up from the computer and dance then go back. Reminds me of the parties in Brooklyn and up all night. That gives me the energy to finish, take me away.
