We used candles in 1991 when the power went out due to the ice storm. The power was out for days.

I was in Harmon. I remember the RD just said don't start a fire and basically, you can do what you wanted. The first thing we did was rush to the convienent store and buy as much Keystone as possible! Fun week.

Wow things have changed since the early 80’s when I was there . Back then beer bottles were everywhere in the lounge , kids sleeping on the couches because there roommates where getting busy in there rooms . Nice to see college is more of a learning institution but who we kidding I wouldn’t have traded my life there in the 80’s for this . We even had a campus bar in the basement of the union , called the Rathskeller’ or the ‘Rat’ as we knew it and our meal card could be used for food and alcohol too. Good times

I went there 89/90 I hated it.......5 months of hard gray winter.......most of the kids were upstate hicks.....misery.....
