- Finnish Power Metal group Battledragon releases yet another amazingly unconventional metal cover for your delight.
After covering songs by some of the biggest female stars of our age, it was time to have a look in the past. Who could ever forget Bomfunk MC's and their classic track "Freestyler" from their breakthrough album "In Stereo"?
As a homage to the soundtrack of our childhood it was decided that this song definitely deserves a Battledragon-style makeover, but it soon became clear that we couldn't stop on just the song itself. A music video was also filmed painstakingly tracking back the very same locations seen on the original video.
On this cover video the members of Battledragon were graciously joined by friends taking over the leading roles. Battledragon embraces the spirit of music as an universal language and roars its thanks to those who made this video possible!

One summer day in 2000 guys placed cardboards down on the ground to make dance floor. They blasted out Freestyler from a boombox and started to break dance. The crowd around them was so excited! It was fire! 🔥🔥🔥
It's lucky that you are also Finnish like Bomfunk MC's so you could easily find the same metro station in Finland where the original video was shot. :D
We have only about five stations(metro) here in Finland(helsinki), it is no so hard.

This particular metro station is Hakaniemi (or Hagnäs, as it's called in Swedish), in case you were wondering. It looks more or less the same as it does in the original video with the exception of the payphones. Obviously, a few things look a bit newer, but even as a foreigner (I moved to Finland in 2010), I had no problems recognizing it.
They did a great job this is one of the best songs ever made I don't care what anyone says this is in my top songs of all time. I'm surprised there hasn't been hundreds of remixes of this song because it's so amazing.

Helsinki subway opened 1982 and has changed little since. Old subway trains still run but there have been also a newer model since 2001. Actually i don't know if it's the same station than back in 1999 but from the level of dedication i guess it is :)
Most locations here are exactly the same as in the original video. The twerking scene was the only scene we had to film in a different location due to renovations in the ticket hall.
Always when I see Helsinki subway (even when I was there) I couldn't see many people there :V And this is weird, since underground carry many people.
Maybe Helsinki is just smaller city than you are used to? :D Helsinki has 634940 residents. Although Helsinki Metropolitan region has 1.4 million people. There are only 5 million Finnish people overall.
