As indifferent as I am about this absolutely deranged series, I’m happy to see that the Euphoric Brothers are making a genuine attempt to repair their public relations, try their hand at actual game design, and have fun with their insane yet hilarious story they’ve written.
My favorite part of this game has to be the ring of roaches.
There's something special about how these boys are just kind of having fun referencing community memes and such while they experiment more and find their footing, it's like they're trying to laugh with everyone instead of just letting themselves get laughed at
The mere idea that JUMBO JOSH is pretty much our only hope at stopping this madness in this chapter is absolutely hilarious
That's why he was in the thumbnail of Chapter 1, they were warning us that he was going to be plot relevant
What surprised me the most about this chapter's story is that they managed to tie in the whole naughty ones/scepter arc with the main plot. The last two games felt like such a non-sequitor I couldn't imagine how they would fit into the rest of the story.
I hope they don’t introduce anymore characters beyond the new Banban and that ant eater character.

The transition of old Daggz’s attitude to him now is extremely bizarre compared to each other on this game.
Clearly he's getting comfortable with his videos and around his audiences
8:17 he's not australian, although some words do have aussie pronouciations like how he says "moight" and "roight"
But he's actually more irish if you listen closer, also he says some words that reinforces the fact he's irish the way he pronounces "things" as "tings" and he says "yeah lad"

but no an irish accent is distinctive and again the way he pronounces certain words (oh and the voice actor on twitter confirmed his accent is irish)

As Poppy Playtime is becoming serious horror. I'm very happy Banban is keeping the goofy Mascot Horror identity alive.
That whole scene with Jumbo Josh was so fire that it skyrocketed him from my most overlooked character in this series to one of my absolute favorites. Somehow, in some way, it was raw as hell while still being one of the funniest things in the entire game. Josh continuously proves that he is deserving of being such a highly-memed mascot horror character. What an icon. /gen

@@chom531it was likely that it got him in the heart. If you attack the heart, they die. The reason it did it this time was because it’s likely in 4, he got lucky. In 4, it just stuck to him normally, but in 7, it actually pierced his body

Most characters changes can be understood if you think about them Sheriff Toadster was sad because he killed an old friend of his. One of the people who found him when he was alone and gave him a place to stay and a purpose.
Sheriff Toadster trusting you in this game was a absolute FLOP of a writing mistake equivalent to another one I don't mention because it makes people not here me out.
Banban is just Fast and Furious for kids.

I'm hoping that Slow Seline will act as a Nurse of sorts in Banban 8, due to a majority of the mascots being extremely injured after Josh's fight. I like the idea of walking down a hall of patients with everyone supporting the player, before reaching Flynn and him saying "You should end yourself. Now." That would be hilarious. Great video! When i played this game and saw the resident evil baby clone, the first thing i thought was "Pastra"
At this point it's not even mascot horror anymore, they're just doing the quirky absurd Earthbound inspired indie game thing but through the medium of walking simulator instead of RPG.
I mean think about, we're descending further and further into the earth, making friends with a bunch of wacky eccentric monsters who were banished underground by humanity and harbor prejudices against us, helping them work out their personal problems... that's just Undertale, right? Like I'm not crazy, right, that's just Undertale.

I'm honestly surprised just how well this game turned out, as I remember just how much shit it got when the first game came out.
This is also the first Banban game to not end with "the good ol' elevator ride"

It's such a tight squeeze getting out the window as well. I died at least 4 times from getting caught on the window geometry.

I’ve been thinking about how whith each game you just keep going down and down into a supposed kindergarten/facility that has completely nonsensical layouts and structures. Is this place like ultrakil’s interpretation of a non-Euclidean hell where space and time don’t apply in any contemporary sense and impossibly large areas are found after fall at the end of every level. Does this mean that baban’s kindergarten is actually a metaphor for hell and all its inhabitants sinners damned for their unnatural existence. Or is the “Garten” a garden a garden of Eden removed from our own world and untainted by human sin with sr.dadadoo the devil. And does all this make Bittergiggle Jesus because he died for our sins.

While I don’t think this game fully redeems the brothers, it is still a step in the right direction and as long as they continue on this path they might actually make a really good game in the future. But only time will tell.
