    every single interview i have ever watched with Don has been inspiring and i always learn something. this guy has a lot of heart and he understands art and what people are communicating through art.

    Don Was is one of the best A&R producers an artist can have...true visionary who mixes knowledge, skill, experience with a doze of humanity and humility like no other. Magnificent!

    I love this guy, he's a great bass player, but if you ever needed audio proof that a custom shop fender will never approach the tone of an actual vintage p, listen to Was on the new Motown Magic soundtrack

    ...seems like a nice, NORMAL working-class guy without the usual snob-like attitude that is so present out there in the world.
