Ngl but I honestly think that eveline was helping him since the more he wanted to fight for rose the more strength he received until he woke up and eveline was like making him want to fight by angering him as well as explaining everything that happened

True RE7, she wanted him and Mia to be her family, and in Shadow of Rose, her segment is her being angry and jealous of the affection Rose gets from her family, which is why the entire segment is Eveline just reminding her of her bullies.
