what's the song in this video?
you don’t really need a producer to show you step by step each thing they did to distort the loop. sometimes you process some sounds and can’t undo it later. the point was to encourage you to experiment with all your plug ins and make a new sound out of an old one. there is no one specific technique. music has guidelines but it’s most often dictated by what feels good. then after that it’s up to the engineer to get the sound quality up to radio standard sonically

Oh you should watch again cus that’s just notttttt true. If you’re looking for step by step tutorials on how to use plugins and literally how to build the tracks in a daw, there’s lots of videos for that and I’m glad to point you to them. But that’s not what this is meant to teach you. I super encourage you to watch again when you’re ready and see what you get with a more open mind, I’m sure you’ll grasp on to many things. ☺️🐻

Bought the video and really disappointed. It's a cash-grab because there is Timbaland name in it, but you'll learn nothing. The stems used in the song already sound good and radio ready and need very little/to no processing at all. No information was provided on plugins/effects/samples used. In other words, you're way better watching other free stuff on youtube where people actually show how to make quality loops and drums
Already jaycen has revealed most of his processing in another video. What you get from this video is up to you
this right here is the problem with almost all Mix With The Masters and Pure Mix tutorials and really most Hip-Hop tutorials/ mixing videos out there in general with the professionals - all the stems are already processed radio ready (by the producers and their team before it gets to the final mixing engineer) so you never learn what steps it took to get it to that level and just see the finishing touches that they put on it in the end!
Some really good hip-hop engineer should show a song from absolute scratch while the beat is being created so people can learn what it takes to get it to a professional level from the actual start to finish! would be really nice and helpful for a lot of people to see!
@@GoodxJ The topic of this seminar video is not beat making or mixing. And jaycen has already revealed most of his process secrets in two other videos, and no mixer has ever disclosed his know-how like jaycen.
I get you. This is more like an arrangement collab. (at least that i was just saw in the latest video on this channel)
But: you wanna keep Timba or Pensado in your studio watching you messing with your eq on the kick or a snare? :)
