It makes total sense. Damn good observation. Here in maine it is just like that. Except mid maine has not seen very much snow during deer season until the very end. I absolutely love to track and teach my kids. And literally run them down. Loved the video can't wait to see you more.
I've enjoyed you videos I just started track hunting last 2 seasons in Adirondacks where I live what a blast. I've learned much from you and Jeff Doyle this is an absolutely cool way to hunt. I am planning a long hunt in Savoy Mountain forest this fall my grandfather's old stomping grounds in 30's 40's 50's thank you for these videos true hunters. Not on a game farm sitting in a stand waiting for timer to go off and a named buck walks in to eat . Keep up the great work be safe take care
Very good tips!

Awesome tips thanks!
Good info. I don't hunt but I do get into the woods often after a snowfall to follow the tracks of deer and whatever else is around.
There's no replacement for experience, amen to that , great video

Great video learned a lot. Does the dew claw make any difference?
They don’t make a difference telling a buck from a doe.
@@jbwildoutdoors3809 hey thanks for the info.
do you have any videos that can give a person more info on how to tell the age of a print.
