Im so thankful I do not feel the need to have a complete set of LOB lol. Love it and appreciate it and can see why others treasure it, but I don’t think I could handle that search + cost. 😅
Very informative video Omar. Lob started it all and despite having lots of vanillas, it has very strong roster when it comes to its content.
My favorite LOB card and one of my all time favorite card is the Tri-Horn Dragon, had one all beaten up back in time .I remember being amazed by his power almost as strong as a Blue-yes ,also first secret rare of them all .Its also a sadly underrated card for me with such awesome artwork .
I wish you would have discussed the different printings of lob in more detail!

I have always loved ray and temperature, it's so perfectly weird. It was one of the first yugioh cards I ever laid eyes on 22 years ago and it stuck with me.

Just picked up 1st Ed blue eyes, but definitely not wealthy enough to do whole set in 1st right now. So next best thing. I’m 12 common cards away from having the whole set in unlimited and I just bought your light blue sleeves for them because they look great with this set!

I agree I don't know why people cream themselves over Tri Horned Dragon, I think Gaia TDC is the far superior secret rare in LOB and such an all around badass iconic card. Great video as always
I actually bought a few boxes of the korean version of lob, then bought the last few missing cards. Got the full set sleeved up and in a binder. just love the set :) + korean version is affordable.

Mammoth graveyard was definitely used in duelist kingdom, when Yugi fused it with that spell card and it started melting overtime.

What set stopped printing wavy & glossy?
I'm pretty sure that wavy and glossy stopped early on in the run of LOB unlimited. I believe there are some wavy and glossy unlimited LOB cards, but they are pretty hard to find because LOB has been printed so many times. There are glossy starter deck cards, though, because those were printed before LOB 1st ed but released after.
YGO experts, feel free to correct me here if I got it wrong.

I honestly think the wavy is the 1st print
It seems like they were experimenting with card stock
Then they switched to the glossy for the 2nd
The reason I believe this is because all cards that came after were with the flat glossy design
Therefore it wouldnt have made sense to print it glossy then change to wavy, just to go back to glossy again
Not logical in my opinion
There's not a single card in YGO that has glossy card stock aside from SDY/SDK 1st ed and LOB 1st ed. What you see in the cards after is not glossy. Thanks for viewing the videos.

No. LoB is not "the first set in all of Yugioh". It's the first set in the TCG but yugioh had already gotten various sets and card releases in Japan for years before LoB came out.

I was so pissed as a kid when I opened up my first LOB pack and pulled the poly, I was like: “ what the fuck is this shit!? “ I thought I bought a fake pack. 🤣 now I just use the og card instead of the trash card that was first released.
