Does the North have a fresh air intake?
I’m having trouble with my stove plugging up with creosote. I burn mostly red fir with a moisture content of 10-15%. I burn most of the day for heating purposes but cook occasionally. Sometimes I need to clean after only a week. A month is the longest I have been able to go. Is there something I am doing wrong or do you have tips on cleaning that might help?
All i can say is keep your flue temps up 250 degree f minimum sounds like your burning a cold fire
